Oh, man. The answer, of course, is Konami, and if that word turns green, I swear that I will punch this computer.............[/b]

My requirements [for 10 footers] would be:

1. Complex step patterns. (Max 300 is rough on your stamina, but has really simple steps, and Sakura just has easy steps)
2. Tiring (Sakura and bag don't exactly hit you like the Maxes or Paranoia's)
3. Be from Naoki (All the current ones are.)

I don't think Naoki made Genom Screams. That's a 10 footer on doubles, and it's not fast like Max or slow like Bag.

Graduistic Cyber (not AMD mix) is a ten footer on doubles....

And then there's "Outer Limits" for Ultramix.

Naoki didn't make all the 10's. They are all just Konami Originals really.

Ten Footers seem to mostly test stamina amoung a person because of how quickly arrows need to be hit. But 10 footers seem to be losing their touch IMO.

Max 300 and MaxX are real big challenges. Max 300 has easy patterns yet it somehow is still really hard to keep going at the whole way through and MaxX has nearly every kind of step in it (gallops, step jumps, streams etc.) LoM doesn't really have that, it's all its speed really (but I love the song to death) And Max. (period) I don't really like. That 600 bpm is just a gimmick really.

So a 10 needs to be stamina draining, have little pause, and just really have one certain aspect that makes it hard. Be it the speed (LoM) or the chaos (bag) that makes it hard.

Hmm...I think I'd have to say that the one thing that truly defines 10 foot songs is that they're harder than 9s.

what makes a 10 differ from all the rest? i say that a ten should be harder than a 9. when i do a 9, i get a little tired, but can continue easily to the next song. when i do a 10 and pass it, i usually fall over of run to the nearest water fountain. i think it's just the all around step patterns, like when MaxX Unlimited does all it's doubles in continuous patterns, or when the PARANOiA's have their long runs of left.gif down.gif left.gif down.gif right.gif down.gif right.gif down.gif those patterns that are hard to hit really fast and the ones that wear you down a lot are what makes a 10.
