Hands During PLay...

After playing some nice songs,I tried to keep my hands loose,not in fist.But,I sometimes found myself doing it.Do you use fist or loose hand?

I let my hands fly about on songs for which I need to keep a steady balance like So Deep PSM, but on most songs, I just keep my hands pretty steadily at my sides like I'm walking.

I usually try to work my hands into my routiene. on AfroNova, i play it on light so i can do my spins, i usually have my ands bouncing like my feat.
Other then that, and other songs i use my hands as part of the routiene, ther usually loose.

I let them hang loose but not like flailing either, moreover so I look normal while playing. Unless I'm playing like Paranoia Survivor or something my arms don't sway very much.

I also don't keep my arms stiff either. It annoys me when I see people play with their arms completely stiff or they make some weird fist/hand gesture combination that makes them look retarded, or they flail their arms about unnesscilarily.

Unfortunately it's small stuff like that, that makes most people point and think DDR is stupid.

What my hands and arms are doing depends on the difficulty of the song.

When something is slightly easy, or i know im probably going to pass like 8 footers and below, i place my hands in my hoodie pocket.

But you can usually always tell when im having trouble with a song because my hands are out and clenched, i need 'em for balance

Never thought of it... I'm a drummer so i stay pretty relaxed. Probably I only make a fist when I tense up like during the runs in Max 300 and stuff.
