So, if you aren't looking for honest critisim, negative included don't read this.

I will say, it is not something you should be embarrassed about. It is definately better than anything I could ever do. What little remix/electric music stuff I've done has been foumlatic, uninspired and not quite right. Yours shows a clear picture of what you wanted it to be.

I will also say I mostly don't like the paranoias as a whole. I do have a fondness for survior though. So you may not want to value my opinion.

I will also say making a slow paranoia remix is hard, since the song gets a lot of the its drive from being fast.

Now, the bad stuff: the mix doesn't seem terribly coherent, esepectially the bit near the end. (Not that any mix of paranoia is completely coherent, but I really felt like it was another song.

Some of the voice over bits sound out of place. Maybe because they are now out of beat with the music. Voice bits have a rhythm of their own and so some finer tweeking may have to be done to fit them in.

The slow pace seemed inconflict with some of the uniquely paranoia sounds. I don't know what you could do about this. Maybe delay their urgancy with echo or a smilaiar, less cheesy effect.

I'm a nit picker. Really, it's a good job.

I personally don't like the remixes of Paranoia or Maxes done by people cause some of the steps are ridicilous and can only be done with your fingers, ridicilous bpms, and I doubt any of them would actually go into DDR if they were to continue the project. 12 footer song and 400bpm? Give me a break!!

Interesting.

The voices could have been removed though. I don't think it really fit in there. Except the "bring it on down" at the beginning. I liked that.

I like the beginning. I really like the steady music in the back ground. It keeps everything together.

It needs to be tweaked right at the one minute mark. It is really screwed up there. Particularly the point when the background music cuts off and the voice comes in. Then in the transition to the next few repetitious beats.

Other than that it's pretty good.

Anyway.........its pretty cool, but it isnt really how I would invision a PARANOIA. I think of PARANOIA as a fast, up beat, frantic song. But hey, i couldn't have done it any where as good as you did, so congrats

!

(P.S. know what sounds wiered? Listen to it while holding down the fast forword button.)
