Front cam question! Please help :)

Hey all! I just found out about frontcam and I tried to make my own vids but they're all shaky and slow. I tinkered with the fps options and i put input and output to 60fps but it didn't help. So I made the screen ultra small (windowed smaller than 320...) and i only got like 8 fps. My pc isn't too bad. 1.5 ghz, 512 mb ram, 32mb vid card... how can i make my videos run smoother?

btw, it's unregistered. I just got it.

also, i can't seem to record sound. I did as the site told me to but i still get no sound

probally the videos are an unnessasarly high quality, i have stepmania and have about 40 of the actual videos from the game, then about another say 45 or so seperate video sections and they all play fine on my comp, which i only have like 312mb ram i have an athalon xp 2400 and a 32 mb video card, not to mention while i play stepmania i am usually using my comp to do something in the backround, but my videos are just a bunch of videos that play a small section of each, that might also be what the difference is.
