a good dj mixing program

I didn't know where to put this so I put it here.

Does anybody know the absolute BEST Dj Mixing program? The reason I put it here is because if I do get the hang of mixing my own songs, im gonna make dwi's out of them.

any suggestions?

i'm not sure if this was covered in one of the stickies, but Fruity Loops is VERY good.

I do have to agree that Fruity Loops is an awesome mixing program, but there's one downside to it: it is VERY processor intensive. Make sure you have gobs of free RAM and a processor over 600mHz.

I highly suggest Sonic Foundry products. AcidPro, AcidDJ, and AcidMusic are great for mixing/composing digitally. Also, if you plan on making your own custom loops/tracks, I would advise getting SourceForge from Sonic Foundry, as well.

I've been mixing, and building beats with Acid Pro 4.0... great program. I'm a DJ and am trying to put together some vinyl, and Acid Pro is helping out a lot.

I have Fruity Loops, where do you guys get the specific files of DDR songs that you use to remix them in Fruity Loops? Do you just use the regular mp3s? do you break them up some how? I've been very curious about this, because I used to mix stuff, but haven't touched it for some time, although I have been interested in doing some of my own remixes.
