Should Waka Laka be conisdered a 9 footer?

Same with Sakura and other such songs.

It was one of my first heavy songs and i cant count the feet since they are so close together so I just always thought of it as a 7 footer and did not have any problem. Im slow sometimes .my bad......

Waka Laka is an 8. Stoic is a 9. Stoic is harder, but not much. The hard jumping part is much longer and more difficult in Stoic which is what pushes it over the edge.

The only one of those songs listed that is actually harder than Waka Laka is Witch Doctor which, as most people seem to agree, should be a 9. It's harder than Drop Out, I feel..., Tsugaru Apple, Matsuri Japan, and Irresistiblement at least (which I think should all be 8's except for Matsuri Japan).

While I'm at it: Highs Off U and Long Train Runnin' = 8.

on topic... does anybody think somewhere over the rainbow should be an 8?

i can't get perf. on the 16th notes, then the slowdown will mess you up on occassion, after that, the whole song is jumps...

or fantasy (max2) some say should be a 7 footer...

Sakura Heavy people say should be a 9

I hear people say Cartoon Heroes should be a 10...

there are ALOT more with foot ratings that are questionable, but playing waka laka for the first time is like playing BE LOVIN'? for the first time?

it has some tricks, but you can learn them easily and then you two will notice that waka laka is an 8 and should be an 8

and i forgot who said it before it was something like "waka laka is an 8 and is staying an 8 no matter what we say" i think we knew that, but this is just an opinionated thread... (sorry if i sound like an buttocks)

No, Waka Laka shouldn't be a 9-foot song.

I mean, if PARANOiA Max has still only been an 8-foot all this time, then Waka Laka will stay it as well.

waka laka should be a 9 step, only cause its faster. The runs in stoic are much easier compaired to waka laka because stoic is slower

First time i did waka laka i passed it with a B... had the song on the end of a nonstop and couldent make it... but this just tells you that the foot system is a rough estimation of whats what.. if your not sure if you can do it play it on sm or look at the stepchart

hmm...waka laka is a hard song. i can do most catas but i still have trouble with this song. there are just a lot of jumps that are hard to read but once u get used to it its not that hard. i think 8 foot serves just fine. yes some songs are arguable but i think konami (or whoever) has done a good job with the foot ratings. it doesnt really matter anyways so take it or leave it.

Its a decent 8 so it shouldn't become a 9. It is much easier than Stoic IMO because stoic has longer step-jump sections in it. Waka Laka does have more jumps overall but the only really hard part is that one section towards the end with the step-jumps.

So no Waka Laka should remain an 8.

personally i don't think Insertion should be a 9 because of that big long pause in the middle. sure the beginning is kind of tough but the end really isn't if you can gallop and you're not even doing anything for about half the song.

I can do almost every 9... including stoic, but I still have very little hope on Waka Laka, I find stoics jump run easier to read, and not as hard to pass with a full life bar intact.

well when i played this song for the first time i didnt expect all of those jumps, i mean they came out of now where. even though 2x speeds everything up to where you can see it, but the second time i played it i got an A on it it wasnt really that hard. waka laka is a fun song you can just look retarded to play, i mean your just hopping around. i mean its not a bad retarded, its just a fun song to mess with.

Waka Laka by no means is not easy. It's one of those songs you categorize as a tough 8. Witch Doctor and Least 100 could also be said to be a tough 8.

Also , about the whole Cartoon Heroes should be a 10 , no way. Not even slightly hard enough to be a 10. I mean it has some tricky parts , but I easily passed it first try. But thats just me. I mean the jump section in the middle is kinda crazy, but by no means , it is a 10.
