What do you usually wear when playing ddr.

I usually wear socks, shoes (at the arcade, at home no shoes), and shorts. At the arcade I'll wear one of my usual t-shirts, but if I'm at home I wear a light undershirt (keeps me cool and the absorbs the sweat

Well as for me unlike most of you uneducated people I have a very strict dress code for DDR.

I always wear active wear. Very light shirt and shorts. As you all should DDR is very physically demanding. Every time I go the arcade and see people covered from head to to in heavy pants,shirts,long sleeve shirts jackets playing the Max bros. or any paranoia. I think they are just asking for trouble by over-heating and such.

I bet most of you people wouldn't go to play a sport wearing casual cloths/or such. Very foolish indeed.

But during the winter I do wear sweat pants. They work very well.

And last but not least the wholy grail of DDR shoes. I have a pair nikes that I've had for 5 years now. They look like that pair of shoes that guy in shaolin soccer had. They are that beat up and full of holes. If I had a digi cam I'd post a pic of them. But they are the lightest pair of shoes that anyone could ever ask for.

i just wear boxers at home cuz its light but at the arcade i wear shorts and a tshirt but dont take off ur shirt if u get hot because i did once and got kicked ou!

I usually wear whatever I wear to town that day, and that usually consists of a light T-shirt/regular shirt over a turtleneck or sometimes just the regular shirt if it's hot, jeans, and either my Vans shoes or my Ugg boots. (they're heavy, though...)

usually at home i just play with whatever i wore in the day, a shirt and pants most likely, but at the mall, when i show off my mad "skillz"(w/ a z btw) i usually put on my lucky black sweatshirt and some pants, you know how it is.

If I know I will be playing DDR that day, I choose my outfit in order to make sure that I am comfortable. But since I am a freestyler, I also want to make sure that my outfit LOOKS GOOD.

I usually wear a t-shirt (either long or short sleeve, dependant on the weather) and either shorts or pants (again dependant on the weather). My shoes are light shoes ... either my Adidas Superstars or my Nike Cortez's.

Plus just for me, I usually have something on my head. Either a visor, bandanna, baseball cap, beanie, or my Kangol gatsby hat. I consider it a good luck charm or something hehe.

Of course with my shoes, I have ÜBER comfy socks so my feet are as comfortable as they can be.

If I play @ home, I just wear a t-shirt & shorts. Simplicity at its best.

When I'm gonna play DDR, I just where the clothes I have on, but I change my shoes to my old pair. But, I would where something light so I can move more comfortably.

If I'm planning on playing a lot of songs on heavy, and i know i''m not exactly the *ahem* lightest person on the planet, I usually wear whatever will keep things from...jiggling..... Usually just some jeans(mostly bellbottoms or flares) ans a shirt. Never a sweater or sweatshirt or jacket. My favorite DDR shoes. Al nice and brat up and dead. Pieces of crap, but they mean the world to me when it comes to DDR.

when im goin to the arcade i gell my hair (yes, i am a chick, and yes, i can gel my hair, and no, i dont look like a dike) i wear my "laser quest" pants (they have holes jsut below the knees, closest things to shorts i will wear in public, and usually a spaghetti strap if i have time to change before we leave (sometimes i barely have time to shove gel in my hair and style it as were in the car on the way there) and i always wear my black vans

once i wore my pants that buttoned down the side.. and that felt REALLY akward.. because they like.. flop if the bottom button isnt done

Things that I have DDRed in @ hyperspace
1. street clothes
2. My tux ( prom was boring so we walked across the street to hyper and had had infinately mor efun)
3. A dress
4. A toga made out of paper towels
5. A giant pizza slice costume I ganked from my papa johns workplace
6. My wrestling singlet ( the sexy uniform)
7. A helmet and hockey pads( for when i tried to play songs while doing head drops)

I usually try to have as much fun when I play rather than score well, so it usually leads to me to randomly selecting gear and going insane. If I am goind to do something that will probobly hurt, I line my attire with protective padding so I can be silly and stay healthy.

I've only played a few times at the arcade, so when I'm playing at home I'm in my ddr outfit: crappy t-shirt and board shorts, and my newly-added wrestling shoes, which I tried for fun once and now I've come to like it them a lot. It looks funny as hell but I can't play in my running shoes anymore lol.
