There has been a topic on this before hasn't there? Anyway I'll answer it. A Tsugaru is a Japanese string instrument. Kinda resembles a guiter or banjo. _________________

There have been about a zillion threads on this before. But I've never posted in one, so here goes. "Tsugaru" has no English translation, per se. It's not specifically the instrument heard in Tsugaru. Rather, it's a type of the instrument heard in Tsugaru, which is a shamisen (see Suwami's post for a description of it). Tsugaru is also a region of Japan, located on the main island of Honshu, in the northern area of the island. I seem to recall Aaron in Japan once saying that the weather is really dreary there, cold and rainy all the time, and that many Enka songs (traditional Japanese folk songs) are written about the region for no apparent reason. |

Don't get mad at me just because you're a lazy slacker. The search button isn't here for its aesthetic contribution to the page layout you know. |

It was meant as a helpful suggestion. Why are you defending a flamer? |

Yes, searching the forum would have been a better option, but you could have put it much more politely.
Locking as question was answered and I don't see any good coming from this. _________________
