Well here are my top tiers in the DDR popularity squad...internationally...
-Tsinay Butterfly (CA/USA) - who IS internationally known by people in Europe, Southern America, and probably more for her awesome FS'ing talent......A FS'ing pop and lock idol here in Southern California, the only girl I've ever known to win an FS tourny...none of that sexy dancing stuff, just plain old pop-lock...so smooth...I love watching her FS She's awesome...and also a very very great friend of mine...she's so generous...she's the prime example of what a DDR player should become later on...she's the most humble FS'er I've ever come to judge in a competition and know as a friend...
-Damien Sarcuni (NY/USA) - The first and only to submit a DDR score to Twin Galaxies, but it was broken by
-Take (JPN/JPN) - (Takeo Ueki)
Courtesy of Twin Galaxies.
I dont even need to say who this guy is...check out... Aaron In Japan And click on Dance Dance Revolution. The one who broke the Twin Galaxies Record held by a fellow New Yorker named Damien Sarcuni , who set the record for a set of songs played... (total of 5) [Infact (edit) doubled Damien's total!]
You can check out more on that here
-Yasu (JPN/JPN) - Take's brother...and just as skilled, this guy AAA's Max 300 on demand...and did the impossible...infact he AAA'ed it a while ago...and AAA's the songs you could only dream of even AA'ing. You can also find Yasu on Aaron's DDR website as well.
-Aaron (CAN/JPN) - His DDR talent and website for hosting AAA's has made him famous as it is...
-JSB (CA/USA)- This guy has amazing talent...as well as a knack to upset people...I was lucky enough to converse with him, and I found out he's not so bad of a person...at all. So I can't say anything bad about him, he only seems to not like "stupid people" .. like half dressed 10 year olds... but he claims to have AAA'ed MaxX (I wouldnt doubt it..though no visual proof...so I'm still a skeptic.) and is definitely the best DDR player in So.Cal and California alone...possibly the nation...the only rival I see to Take and Yasu. JSB plays 10 foot songs and Single Digit Greats them like noone I've ever seen. If you seem him play and pass Legend Road with no trouble you'll see what I mean.
So those are my heavy hitters
Tsinay Butterfly
Damien Sarcuni
Take
Yasu
Aaron

GOD
3 of those people are domestic, NOT INTERNATIONAL.
And the other 3 everyone already knows.
Jesus Christ people, vocabulary word a day makes the stupidity go away.
Sorry, just thought I'd clarify all of this.

Hmmmmmm PMG ......Keep in mind others read these things as well. Your domestic people to them (them meaning others that live in other countries....) are considered international boundaries. _________________

First, as said by others, whats domestic to you is international to others, cause, as crazy as it may seem, not everyone lives where you live. Second, You didnt make the thread, so maybe you should stfu about what should be posted. Finally, you have the word wrong anyway, Whats meant by internationally known players is players who are known regardless of local all over, not players who are in different countries. and I think Kneuklid Romance pretty much has a good list there. _________________

This thread is a joke. Either people want to try to "get their hometown boyz famous kekekekek", or "talk about people that we ALREADY KNOW are insanely good", like bringing up Take and Yasu and JSB and Tigger and so on and so forth.
But I guess I'll try to stick to the point of this topic:
jason ho i luv his fs bar flips lol XD _________________

Umm... (domestic vs. foreign) != (domestic vs. international)
Besides, if people put US players in there, it's no reason to have a heart attack. Jesus christ, you're a mod and you're flaming people.
Besides, the FIRST POST said "Who are the best DDR players that are internationally known?" They didn't say "Who are the best international (and I mean non-US) players?" I know for a fact that bemaniac and JSB are known by at least a portion of the japanese ddr crown (ever read aaron's board) so CALM DOWN.
Kneuklid Romance> BeForU~Dude2~ lives in Lubbock, TX. I'm the "jon" he's talking about, and I already posted something that said I don't really belong on a list here
As for the thread being a joke, it might not be to others... at least let them talk. *shrugs* _________________

Umm.. well lets see.. the topic of the post is "what are some DDR players that are internationally known?" So yes, it would make sense the people int he list are people.. you know.. that everyone knows..
|
Yes, but don't you think it seems a bit.. you know.. repetitive?
..bleh. Whatever. DDRFreak gets new members all the time, so I guess I can't really say much about that. Carry on... =\ _________________

I don't know anyone that plays *outside* the Us... so don't yell at me...
But, I would have to go with JSB, Tigger, Jaime and prehaps Zero... these are just people that I have seen play with my own eyes. They are all ... just whoa.
as for Freestyle... Tsinay Butterfly is my HERO!!! My friend Tino sent me a bunch of her videos and when I grow up... I wanna be JUST Like her!!!!!!!!!

I guess I should actually add someone to this list.
Natsuki Nishino.
Back when 3rd mix was just released, and all 9 footers were absolutely impossible, she was passing them in Japan.
