I love Jam Jam Reggae even though it is a bit weird. How can you not?
Ska-a-go-go is weird. You may already know that I think this, but 5.1.1. is weird. Yozora No Muko is pretty trippy. Silent Hill is just very out of place, and it sucks balls.

yeah. it always confused me why they didn't use the japanese version Sobakasu by Judy and Mary. The singing's a lot cuter in my opinion.

Wha? Those are cool songs.
I'd go with others saying Orion .78 (any mix) is the weirdest, but I still like it for some reason.
I seem to remember that a lot of songs from Konamix are weird. Some of them even pass into the realm of frightening weird, like Dead End and La Señorita Virtual. But I like them, too, goldarn it.

While I like both of them, neither Rurouni Kenshin's opening nor ending goes well with the series, in my opinion. The remix for DDR doesn't help things. The remix in DDR is completely different from the original Japanese and dubbed versions, more being "Englishized" than translated. The first line of the DDR version goes "What am I gonna do/ if I can't get through/ counting all these freckles in my life?" There is a line about counting freckles in the original, but later in the song, not at the beginning. And the Rurouni Kenshin ending is just about a guy trying to get some, basically.  |

I can see why (sorry, don't remember your sn) would find Legend of Max weird: there is quite a bit of controversy over the song. The beginning, the dude is talking about the song. Then he starts egging you on (Energy, Intensity, The Fear). Then he's encouraging you (You can do it, I know you can.)
Once, I was playing it, and some black dudes were watching me (not being racist, they were black and male, thus, black dudes), and that "The Fly"part came up. They were all like "Oh my F***ing God, he's playing a song about a di*k measuring contest!" The fools, they made me fail from laughter.
I also get many similar comments about the 5th Mix song Do Me! (Higeo mix). I already listed it. But the BG is awesome. Boldo and Disco... Who'dve thought...

it has a weird name, but it really is just a cool song.
also, i don't remember what mix it's on, but there was a song called 'macho gang' by a band called 'anal spyder' which also fit into the 'weird but cool' category...
