Alright, I've looked around for a minute and I can't find help in any faqs.
I downloaded an IIDX simulator and I figured I would get one song to try it out, I downloaded Nemesis and and BMS file. . and it all works fine but I have no sound, I went into the BMS file in notepad and changed the ending to mp3 and set the sound settings to what the faq said but I can't get sound for my life. . help would be appricieated. _________________

i'm a bit new to this, though i've found bm98 uses midi controll, which rocks.
how common are .bms songs with notesounds? the game seems pointless without them? in other words, how common is it to find official songs with note sounds and all?

Hey, can I use the Drummania controller with DTXMania?
I heard that the Yamaha one works, but I'm not sure about the Konami/Topway ones...
Also, how do I get a rid of the extra purple drum? |

Yep,
You can use the PS2 drum controller with your computer. What you need is a PS2 to USB adaptor. For more info visit my site at:
www.homei.cc/gdas
under the "controller" section.
Cheers. |

Are there any guitar/drum sims that have implemented Nonstop mode so far? I don't mean Session Stream's Medley mode; I mean a real Nonstop mode, complete with Official, Order, and Random modes just like in GF and DM. |

Not to my knowledge there isn't.
I suspect DTXMania might have it in the future, updates to it come every few monthes, and it's quite extensive already.
I wish there was a simulator that could sync IIDX and DM into one screen, since BMS files are cross compatible. that would be so cool. _________________

I use a really cool program called notepad.
Oh, and to the guy that said updates to DTXMania come every few months, they come a lot more frequently than that, you just have to browse through FROM's forum, since he'll annouce a new version and link to it in the forum, but not on the main page or download page. |

So I'm too lazy to look throughout this whole thread. Are there any BM (IIDX) simulators for Mac OS X? I downloaded MacBeat but it turns out its a classic environment game. And I screwed my classic environment up when updating to X. Are there any?
EDIT: I just saw a newer download of MacBeat provided earlier on this page of the thread. I tried playing, but obviously, no songs so far. Where would I put the songs I get? IE, what folder what I create and what would I call it and where would I put it? _________________

LoL
I tried notepad, but I have to see the hits as the music plays. =D I've used that GDA creator for a while and I'm able to get through the program just fine now, but I can't figure out how to get different types of hits on the same drum. Like those little circles on the hit to make it a ride or cymbal for example. Anyone know how to get it in GDA creator? _________________

I have the link to Feeling Pomu, the Pop'n Music sim!
Go to world.alatavista.com, select Japanese to English under Translate a webpage, and put this in for the webpage.

I used to have Feeling Pomu-err-for one day. I couldn't figure out how to work it. Everytime I clicked on it an error message popped up with question marks in it. |
