Recording a video file of sim?

Anyone know a way to do it? I just want a recording of me playing (or demo mode for that matter) to a video file (mpg, avi, mov, doesnt matter).

I've tried various desktop recording software that's supposed to accomplish what I want. But either a.) the frame rate sucks, and/or b.) when I run the recording apps, SM/DWI slows waaay down.

The only thing I can think of is to use a TV in/out card and pipe it out to a VCR, then pipe it back into the PC.

Any simplier ideas that work?

Well you could setup a video card with TV out to display the same thing on both you PC monitor and TV out. Then just hook up the tv out to a vcr. It's pretty easy to do.
