Well, I think that DDRFan163 had a great idea. What DDR song has the most meaning to you. Check the Post "Lyrics?" for his/her post.

The DDR song for me that always makes me feel a little weepy is "Moonlight Shadow". If you can listen to those lyrics with, with that melody... you've gotta be pretty hard.

"The last that ever she saw him
Carried away by a moonlight shadow
He passed on worried and warning
Carried away by a moonlight shadow"...

"The trees that whisper in the evening
Carried away by a moonlight shadow
Sing a song of sorrow and grieving
Carried away by a moonlight shadow"...

"All she saw was the silhouette of a gun
Far away on the other side
He was shot six times by a man on the run
And she couldn't find how to push through"...

"I stay, I pray
See you in heaven, far away"...

"Caught in the middle of a hundred and five
The night was heavy and the air was alive
But she couldn't find how to push through"...

I mean, I knew the lyrics were pretty sensitive when I first DDRed to it at the Arcade but then when I got the Full version of it... oh my gosh! *Tear* Everytime I hear it, I get goosebumps.

Everyone~ post what song does that to you. E1.gif

Dam Dariram

Dub I Dub

Moonlight Shadow

Candy (Lyrical version)

Sobasku: Freckles

Ever Snow

I Feel

Drifting Away

...well, too be honest...a lot of DDR songs have 'deep' lyrics. I love them a lot, which makes me play them the most. =)

Moonlight Shadow does that to me too. The first time I "heard" the long version (which was when I sang it on a karaoke machine), it really tore at my heart. Also, the long version of Ordinary World gets me teary-eyed.

Broken My Heart and Destiny do that to a lesser degree.

ok guys this is what i wrote (so that you don't have to check back to my previous topic):
Quote:
hmm... as long as we are on the topic, what DDR song do you think has the most meaningful lyrics? or maybe what lyrics do you think are the coolest? i know some of you guys out there aren't quite as sentimental as i am and are going to deny that a song can make you cry but i know it can and when i first heard dam darriram it reminded me of my girlfriend who i just got into an argument with and i'm not kidding i almost cried (it is sad that is how much DDR has effected my life) i called her up right after i got home from the arcade and we talked and everything we worked everything out so that song really means a lot to me.
THNX DDR!

well that is my two cents on the matter thnx to DDRshampoo for posting a seperate topic about it though i'm not sure how many people would have looked for it under the topic "lyrics" E4.gif

you know the other day i was playing tsugaru and for some reason i started to choke (literally; not like i was failing or anything, can AA it on heavy in fact) while i was playing, i fell off my pad and ran into a wall, once i got my breath i started laughing so hard that my eyes were watering. does that count?
but another song that really does make me cry is colors (for extreme) it is a beautiful song with lyrics that i think are rather sad E12.gif

Maxx Unlimited... wow, when the synth came in, I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes... by the time it reached the stop, I had used up a whole tissue box... (ok, that was exaggerating a little, but still, that song is just so... beautiful (kinda odd saying that about a Max...))

I agree with Colors.

Which one? La Senorita, La Senorita Virtual, or Senorita (Speedy Mix)?

The songs that have a great deal of meaning to me are:

Can't Stop Falling in Love (both versions)
Dam Dariam
Hot Limit
And especally Luv to Me (agian, both versions)

I can't believe NO ONE said anything about these songs! They're awesome, and they have awesome lyrics! Here, lemme post 'em for ya

(Disco Mix-Super Euro Version)

Love me

Neon signs were shining bright
And in the street lights, you tried to move by
I saw your shadow was fading away
Well, I lost you all of a sudden

Good-bye my love, I love you too so
Before you went away, I didn't know
Memories awake, only in my dreams
When I think I lost them, they all come back to me

You said that you love me
Looked at me softly
You kissed me and held me all night so tight
I know what you're feeling
I know what you're dreaming
All that you feel and everything in your mind

The memories are so clear
So many good years
Sweet ones I hold dear
Can't hold back the tears
I need you by my side
These feelings I can't hide
So don't walk away, boy
Baby won't you bring back~!

Love me

Love me

Chalk up another vote for Look to the Sky, and while it's not a song to which there are steps to, the ending theme from DDR Party Collections, Feelings Won't Fade by System S.F., really brings a tear to my eye. Especially the full version from DDR V-Rare 5. riiight.gif
