I found a clip online www.aaroninjapan.com (look around, you'll find it) with this guy in japan freestyling on it. feel free to give your opinion on the game, does it r00l? does it suCk big hairy balls? tell me! (btw that site has some of the best DDR clips too, even some guy AAAing max 300 on heavy reverse scroll! pretty damn good!)

I view Pop'n as Beatmania Double minus one key and two turntables.

Hence, as far asI'm concerned, Pop'n Music is Beatmania IIDX For Pussies.

Well said from someone who hasn't bothered playing enough of the game to realize how different it is. Such judgements based on appearance alone are worthless and a waste of our time.

Assuming you're not confined to the small controller, pop'n is an awesome experience you just have to try. Some might not like it, but for me, I'd take pop'n far over IIDX any day. It might resemble beatmania, but the spacing of the buttons and the patterns make it a very different play. And the music is a hell of a lot better, IMO.
