Pump 3 credits into the machine.

Now fail MaxX Unlimited Heavy 3 times in a row.

Trust me, ANY 9 foot looks like total cake after that.

(Or you could try Sweet Sweet Love Magic to prepare you... it's kind of a watered down version of Cartoon Heroes but even so it's not an easy cata by any means)

So Deep is easy...all you need is endurance and to know the rhythm. E7.gif

Cartoon Heroes challenging, but not hard...I'll AA it soon. E7.gif

HV:AM is an easy AA if you can doublestep and have endurance. E7.gif

Tsugaru is easy E7.gif

Orion (civ mix) isn't hard, i'll AA this one soon as well... E7.gif

Gradiusic Cyber is a biznitch... disgust.gif

Cartoon Heroes is quite hard but once you get used the chaos in the song it will become way easier.

you guys, once you get used to any song it's a piece of cake your body gets used to the rhythm and steps, it just flows,

but me fairly new to the games (couple months now), and DDR Extreme, ive played many songs on heavy i can't pass, but no 9 feet came as close to Cartoon heroes

i think it's the combination of steps it's got EVERYTHING instead of relying on a specific pattern like most songs.

The only other two insane songs i can think of is Healing Vision Angelic Mix and Move your Body (i think thats what its called)

I can get through Cartoon Heroes mainly with a C. And I be lucky when I get a B. This is without bar raping of course. With bar raping is, I get A's constantly. It's just that middle part that gets me that I cannot combo without bar raping. One just needs to build up stamina,

Orion is very hard; the reason I say this is because no one has AAA'ed it in the U.S. Nobody.

HVAM is hard, but not as hard as So Deep or CH. Maybe it's because I raped it so much, but I figure if I can oni spec it, then it isn't too hard.

I've played So Deep almost as much as HVAM and I am just now getting a B on it. Learning the rhtym is a big part, yes, but being able to be consistent with it is another story. You can't tell me that you find a constant stream of 8th's to be harder then a bunch of gallops, stomps and runs...

I'm getting better at CH, but it still tires me out more than any other 9, even stuff like EE, Across the Nightmare Oni, and HVAM. The 8th note jump runs and the gallops into 8th steps jumps are the biggest killers. The rest of the song, which is more or less a harder R&P, is no cakewalk either.

Tsugaru has the one hard part, where you have to jump, do a short run, and jump again, but overall that song is a total joke compared to CH (or most other 9's for that matter...)

Gradisic Cyber is hard to PA, no doubt, but for me the biggest problem are those 16th's. Grr, they make me mad. devil.gif If they were up-down or left and right runs it'd be different, but seeing as how they aren't...
Not to mention songs like Fantasy and V oni; those are toughies as well...

Phew, my 2 cents.

It all depends on what kind of player you are and what your strengths and weaknesses are. Some songs may be easier or harder than others to different people. However, Cartoon Heroes mixes it up very well and presents almost every kind of DDR challenge.
Meaning its FREAKING HARD.

I can pass it with an A now, but it was a pain to get down. As far as stamina goes, I don't think thats really the issue with this song. This songs fits under the catagory of CATAs that do way too much for their difficulty.

Tough stamina catas? What about CSFILSM? You can't say that after you passed that song the first time you weren't tired as hell. Leading Cyber was another tough 9-foot for me.

I personally think the hardest CATAs are Cartoon Heroes, Orion (Civ Mix), and Leading Cyber. So Deep was easy for me..

But to everyone their own!!! happy.gif;

HVAM is kinda hard only for stamina purposes though, if you can hit those runs, it's really a piece of cake otherwise. And "Move Your Body"? You're probably thinking of the song "Dance Dance Revolution" and it's not really that hard of a Cata. Do the Challenge steps for it before trying the Heavy steps, I'd say. They're slightly easier with less jumps.

You want a hard Cata? Do Gradiustic Cyber (either version). Then come back and tell me Dance Dance Revolution is a hard song. LOL.

I agree with most of the people on here though, Cartoon Heroes IS hard. I quite literally passed out after passing it the first time. It does take your stamina VERY VERY fast. And the steps are not easy either. It could be considered one of the hardest catas. Although I think that Gradiusic Cyber (AMD G5 Mix) is probably THE hardest cata out there. That's just my personal opinion, but yeah, Cartoon Heroes is up there along with Burning Heat! and So Deep.

Yes. Because I am on the verge og AAing it, so I would be a lord of the dance. I like that idea.

lol what the hell are the people that AAA it then?
Yasu and Take.

I'd love to see a harder 9 Footer than CH.
CH is a very hard song, no doubt about that. Try playing it on 1.5x or 2x and solo mode on. That should make this devil song much easier.
When you get a little stamina, and know when the 16th arrows are, then it's as easy as, say, Be Lovin.

No, being lord of the dance comes when you freestyle AAA bag (i.e. put your hands on your waist). AAAing Cartoon Heroes just makes you a Cartoon Hero freak, imo laugh.gif

CH is without a doubt the hardest 9 footer in my opinion. Burning Heat takes a spot somewhere close, but CH is evil. So many different techniques are thrown at you in very close proximity. I think the songs that don't just rely on one technique are the hardest; Sweet Sweet <3 Magic to me is also quite underrated. That's a good warmup song for Cartoon Heroes, imo...if you can AA Sweet Sweet <3 Magic you should be well on your way to getting CH.

I can AA Sweet Sweet with 2 greats, I'm working on an AAA for it and I can AA Cartoon Heroes with 12 greats. HVAM I am at 5, and Orion I'm down to 9.

But I will tell you, it took awhile.

No, AAAing CH would make you a cartoon.

It isn't really that hard of a song. If you have a speed mod. It should lighten the blow. It's really all about knowing the arrow patterns.

speed mods aren't the instant cureall for your passing/paing woes..(<speed whore> i hate songs at 170-190..some i can do at 3x and others i can't, but 2x is too clumped now </speed whore>)
