We've definetely thought of DDR at our school as a gym class. (me and the other members of Team Chounouryoku, that is). We were actually discussing it while we were choosing gym classes, and got stuck with volleyball (yuck!), so we thought it'd be nice if we had a couple of DDR machines up in the dance room; we'd probably get an even better workout. E13.gif Oh well, since gym is over for the year, volleyball is long gone!

There is a high school by where I live that counts DDR as an activity. They have an Extreme in their gym. Lucky bastards...

Never. No one in my school likes it, and if shown it, they would think it sucks.

Every one here at my school hates it so that idea wouldn't work here.

School is too poor and..

there's simply to many people who hate it. blink.gif In one week if my school were to have bought DDR machine, it would be wrecked.

But we can dream. biggrin.gif

Psh, DDR in schools would be an attrocity...

All the dang trendies would hog the machine all day while the pros and FSers sit back and laugh thier asses off at them...

Wait, that's a good thing!

But seriously, the lines would be too long in my town, there are too many people who want to try it... And the chances of me or one of my friends getting first in line to perform and scare everybody away is nil...

And besides, Temecula holds some of the crappiest players in Socal, period... Except Hooby and myself when I play regularly...

At my school we don't even have lunch. We go to school they throw us in closets feed us there leftovers from last nights tv dinner boxes. And even then they feed us sponges, it gets pretty intense trying to get those suckers to go down. But even so the 5 year old green tea does the job. They treat us like rag dolls...it's not even a school. It's a prison.

Kinda like a temporary 8hr temporary enslavement / thrift shop. I mean jees we can't even do anything. All the games we can play is rock paper scissors or anything we can draw with our fingers in the dirt. If you play hangman someone does get hanged. There ruthless barbarians...and if they get hungry well...Bubba comes and harasses us. goog.gif E2.gif

..I'll summarize my school up in one word.

Mississippi drool.gif

If we could possibly afford DDR Machines in our gym.. I think it would be phenominal, because it is actually a good workout for your legs. Our track team despretely needs improving.

You should feel ' highly granted ' to even have a machine close to where you live. I have to drive 35 minute to get to the nearest machine. <_<;

Well my school has DDR since I run the Videogame Club and our club donated enough money for Metal Dance Pads. About over 40 people come to chat, dance, record videos, take pictures, and even joke around with each other laugh.gif

though we do this at lunch and everybody enjoys it week after other week along with having a fsing tourney that amazed so many people who weren't even DDR players. Thankfully we had securtiy keep in eye out for trouble makers, one time some ahole came into our room yelling "You call that dancing? HA you n****rs ain't got the balls to dance for sh*t!" ¬_¬ somtimes you gotta be careful with playing DDR at school cause trouble "WILL" occur....trust me I've had so many problems dealing with people like that who mouth us out.

DDR in any form at my highschool would equal a vandalized and broken machine in a matter of days and the most ridicule ever dished out in the history of my school.

Wow. None of the schools in my area or any that I've heard of ever have had a DDR machine. You guys are lucky.
