ok... im planning on ordering a fliptop with the swapmagic discs so i can play imported extreme, and party collection. however, i heard that the new 3.0 freezes a lot and has problems. my question is this, does anyone know of the sm3.0 from ps2cover.com, and know how reliable it is? i heard the 2.0 is reliable, so i might just buy that.

i was just wondering how you would play backups of PS1 games on your ps2. I have the fliptop and SM 3 DVD 2, but i keep hearing about gameshark v2 that you need it. How would that work cuz im new to this little mod thingy so plz answer back if you can

my guess is it was lost in the mail or summat. my friend has recently purchased a fliptop and recieved it, and i purchased it about a week ago, (and am waiting for it... *gulp*) but my guess is its not a problem with ps2covers.com, just maybe fedex.

is the magic V modchip lagit? (i cant spell) it looks pretty good, and since the magic 3.1 doesnt work with the version 9 ps2 (that i have) i was wondering about this mod chip.

well, i wanna buy a fliptop w/ SM bundle but the thing is I dont want to order from PS2 Cover anymore because of all the problems with shipping (or so ive heard)

what is the "best" and most reliable site to do this?

Play-Asia is a very good and very reliable site. I got my Pop'N 9 pre-order from them, I have 7th Style on Reserve, and they've very prompt.

I got my fliptop and swap discs at Chipzone. The items came a week after they got my payment. Try them out.

I got Party Collection from Play-Asia. I had no problems with them.

*sigh* CD-RW and DVD-RW discs aren't working for me again.

CD-R and DVD-R discs are working fine though. The RW disc can be read on my computer fine, but they won't work in the PS2 with fliptop/swap discs. It worked once.

hey everybody sorry for not responding about the fliptop site i sent them an e-mail about it and they said that theywere behind on the january orders bacause
a)Chinese new year pushing them up to be shipped in febuary
b) Waiting for the new swap magic cd's to include in our orders
c) The batch of fliptops were defective and were getting a new batch of them on last friday

They said they would ship my order this week with express shipping so hopefully it will be here soon. I will post a reply if i get it.

I placed an order for a fliptop cover with ps2covers.com on 1/30. I've exchanged numberous e-mails with them (getting the same responses as DancingOtaku) and still have not received the "promised" e-mail that would notify me when my stuff ships out.

I e-mailed them today to get an estimate on when my stuff would be sent out. They're looking a little sketchy right now because their site is down.

same thing with me I ordered an PS2Cover Soild Black Lid & Swap Magic Disc Set on 2-08-2004 but when I ordered it they just give me an order number but I didn't recieve an e-mail or did I just delete in the Bluk section. But yea www.ps2cover.com is down dont know what the hell is wrong but its pissing the crap out of me..
