I've been playing for 2 months now and i can do a light mode max rush (all the maxes in a row unlimited then legend then 300) is this considered good?

Eh, better than I could do 4 years ago. I was stuck on Light songs for an entire year I sucked so bad =/

Everyone progresses on their own speeds...there isn't really a good consideration on time and speeds of accomplishing songs.

I think being able to do all Maxes in a row on any difficulty is an accomplishment in itself.

Compared to people who don't play, you're good. But comparing yourself to the advanced majority of players on this site, you should probably still identify yourself as a beginner, or, if you have that much ego, try an intermediate player.
