DDR Players vs. The World

Recently, while playing I have been the subject of bullshit from a few people who come into the arcade and want something to make fun of. This has happened to my brother while playing as well.

Have you had any experiences with things like this? How did you handle it?

Kick their asses if you can. Otherwise, I guess just ask them to stop or talk to the administrators about banning those people. I'm fortunate enough to be in a surrounding where most people like, or at least tolerate DDR. Aside from a few requests to avoid particularly annoying songs, I haven't gotten much of a hate crowd.

well it depends....i act differant in differant situations.

1. I always start out with ignoring them and usually they go away.
2. I step off after I finish a song and ask them if they would like to try the same song i just did. They usually say "yeah right like im gonna play that gay game" then walk away or they get on fail and then say "oh man that game is so gay" ive actually gotten appologized to a couple times but not very many.
3. If i just did bad on the song I curse them out

not exactly the best way to make them go away but hey it works.
4. If they really wont leave I go and tell the manager and theyre outta there like a fat kid chasin an ice cream truck.

Just play your game man screw the haters.

At first I would ignore these people...but its happened to me so much that i dont take it anymore.

I finish the song im doing, look them straight in the eye and ask them if they would like to play. The usual answer is no, which I then follow with, "then dont bother me when I play". They usualy dont bother me after that.

If Im playing at a joint premium arcade I insist that they play with me, telling them its free to join in and most of the time they walk away, when they do join me they pick beginner/light (no offense to light players) and do horrible, but I can see they gained a respect for the game.

ocassionally i have a person jump up on the machine when im playing and then they will flop there arms around pretending to rule at the game. When they do that i ask them to challenge me and i pick a really hard song (aka max 300) and wow they dont look so hot any more infront of there friends

but then ocassionally u get the losers who wont even step up and they diss u even more..

A kick in the nuts is all you need for the guys.
If they are extremly annoying girls, pissing them off can be so much fun. Like when they bitch about how better they are than others, even though they play(Even if they play at all) easy beginner songs, and get Bs and Cs, how DDR is stupid, like "I could do that song easy!". I go up to them and say "Hey bich, you want to try this?" if they don't respond (They usually don't), and they try to shadow me, give them a little blow in the face (Breath wise, not punching them(Then again...))willdo the trick. they will flip out a little, pretend they are big by swearing their heads off, and most of the time, walk out.

Just ignore them at first. If they continue to bother you talk to the manager or someone else at the arcade.

This shouldn't happen much, so I doubt it will be a continuous problem.

2: they try to screw u up by screwing around the machine
Ans: Knock them on the head WHILE making it look good and not lossing focus on the song
3: Start mocking u by mimicing
Ans: Throw something at them

i love messing with them back. if they jump on to the pad when i'm playing and start messin around, i'll just push them off. if they try and step on the arrows to screw me up, i'll just keep going, even if it means steping on them. if all they wanna do is talk trash, well theres multiple things i'll do. lets see, ignore them, talk trash back, piss on them(yes, i have pissed on someone else before, but he asked for it), just stare at them(thats the on thing that annoys them the most and creeps them out the most), etc. i do lots of things to them.

if someone tryin to be retard and they're shadowing you ina retardy way...just pretend ur doin a FS and then do some brakdancing move and trip em so they smash their head and bleed to death..

or if its a guy, follow him back to his place, drug him and then castrate him....

or....if u are doing the "ask the stupid weiner to have a go" thing...and the dude accepts....while hes playing, smack him ont he head, kick him in the nuts, push him into the machine, and run like a sneeze
