Homosexuality and DDR

How come whenever i play DDR, i always get called a "fag" or "homo" and even "faggot" ? Now I know these are hatefull/slang terms meaning a homosexual person. But why do many people assume i am a homosexual because i play DDR? Now if people called me these names when i didnt play DDR i would understand, but i only get called these names when i visit arcades and play DDR.

So are most of the DDR players Homosexual? I am just wondering because many people assume i am one because i play.

Do you get called a Homosexual when you play DDR? If so do people call you this when you do not play DDR?

don't worry about it, they're idiots who are teasing you about playing well because they cant play worth crap. get them to go away by asking them if they wanna play. it usually does the trick. if it does'nt work, ask the manager to kick them out.

But why would they assume i am a Homosexual?
Are many of the people who play DDR Homosexuals? Because many people assume i am one when i play. I am just trying to understand why i am being called a Homosexual when i play DDR, if many people who play DDR are homosexuals i would understand. So are they?

Also it's become quite a fad to use gay as a substitute for uncool or anything like that.

No, it's not that they actually think you are homosexual. It's just a term that most kids use now to mean either stupid or uncool. Nothing to worry about or get upset at. Just don't pay attention to them.

Yes, they call you those names because they want you to feel stupid...and it does seem to be working. They (probably) don't think you are homosexual. As others have said, ask if they care to try, or get them kicked out.

I think it's worse when you're just starting, because then you don't look as impressive and it's a new thing to the teasers. But once you get better, have you have something impressive to show them, and they probably won't tease nearly as much once they see what you can do.

you have to look at what you look like from their point of view...

Then if you are playing some type of "uber - happy" song then you are bound to be called a bundle of sticks.

Getting crap from people comes from the territory for playing DDR. If you dont like it , then play at home or dont play at all.
