Online play in stepmania??

why hasn't the stepmania team included this feature? Its such and obvious thing to do and it would be very easy to impliment considering most PCs have internet access. This would just make stepmania sooo much better, I would totaly love to play online against real people.

there's been talk about this. not sure if it will happen but here's my theory, They're trying to do it, it probably wont happen but they're trying anyway.

Is has been talked about by the team, and there's big speculation about how songs can be used, and how people can use a pad. The big thing is just using the honor system on using a pad since there's no way to detect them properly.

yeah I guess, but have it for xbox and ppl can still use the xbox controller right? The only problem I could see is that not everybody has the same songs, so there would have to be some way of playing with people that have the same songs as u. Dling the song from a user that has it is an option but probly too slow for most ppl.
