My dance pad just stopped working a few days ago. The LED lights are coming on, so I'm pretty sure it's because of my control box. I opened up the box and checked for lose connections, and I couldn't find any. Does anyone have any advice on how I can get it working again? Playing without the pad working is getting kind of boring now.

You know, telling us what pad you're using could help a little...

I have had the same problem on my BNS pad. I have 3 different control boxes and when I'm playing it just stops working and i get all misses but the LED lights light up when i step on the arrow. I really don't know whats wrong with it.

I'm not sure exactly what brand of pad I have. I bought it from E-bay for cheap (like 100$). It's a metal pad, btw.

NCK I used to have that problem, too... It didn't happen too often though.

My BNS does the same thing. So often that I just stopped using it. I could only play a song for about 30 seconds and then it would just stop responding, but the LEDs would still come one. I did have one temporary solution. I opened the control box and pulled the circuit board off of the sticky foam stuff and stood it up vertically, and for some reason that worked but now it's crapping on me again. I'm gonna buy a RedOctane control box and see if that will make a difference.

If anyone knows exactly why our pads keep shorting out on us, PLEASE TELL!

I unplug mine when this happens, but it will just stop responding in about 30 seconds every time I plug it back in.
