male or female?

My dad and I were talkin about DDR and he thinks it is mainly a female oriented game. I told him that ive seen plenty of guys playing it. So i was wondering, How many of you out there are male and how many are female??

Actually, mostly guys play it. Probably because guys play more video games.

I myself am a female, but most i know are males. that is prolly because all my friends that i hang with are guys. I do see girls play on teh machine, but none of us females here are nearly as good as the guys, that is till we start getting better to whip their butts

im a guy and deffinately the fan base is mostly guys for DDR but there is quite a few girls here in NY that play too. Some pretty damn good ones at that too.

I am a male. And around my area, there are usually guys who play, but sometimes there are girls. About 4 girls who actully play ddr, and about 14 males that I have seen (including me).

I'm male, and I've never seen a female play. Then again, I've only ever seen maybe ten people other than myself play. My sister seems to think it's the best game ever made, but as far as I'm aware she hasn't actually played it yet.

Yes, perhaps mostly males play, but I'd imagine the major reason for this being that video games, as a whole, are male-oriented. So I suppose you could consider DDR a female-oriented game in the sense that it doesn't lean toward either sex, meaning it leans more toward women than most other games. Just a thought.

Here its about 3/4 male 1/4 female... Which really isn't that bad compared to most places. Origionally in a news article in a magazine I can't think of right now... It said that this was the first Female Game made because they said in the article that Females are naturally better at dancing... but they said this would invite girls into the video game world... I guess it kinda did? lol... I'm going way off topic... its to late for me. Good night
