There has got to be a way for us ddrfreaks to get Konami to bring a 9th mix, I mean DDR still has a big following. Konami should see that they are making money on the franchise so why quit at 8th mix (Extreme)  . |

Aww whats the matter? Already bored of Extreme? No one said they were going to stop making DDR's in the arcade. If you really think that it's the end make a petition on that petition site... Forgot what the site was though...

how can you consider megamix 9th mix (or the 9th instalment of ddr)
I think of it as the ghetto extreme, almost as good but not quite there.

Megamix is not made by Konami. It was a knockoff created independently. Rumors (that I cannot attest to) place the release date for the next DDR mix in Winter 2004.

When it comes out it will come out, for what it seems like therefinally taking a break and working on there other bemani projects. Just wait you'll see
P.S
I hope it's 20 times better than EX and not use a whole bunch of old/remade songs. |

Yeah, I'm surprised that Konami didn't recognize that the hundreds and hundreds (if not thousands and thousands) of bootlegged Extreme and Max2 machines were bringing them buttloads of money everyday, wooo!!! [/sarcasm] |

| Don't get me wrong, I love DDR Extreme but personally I want to see a new mix, with the following songs brought back, Ghosts (from Max), So Fabulous So Fierce and Drifting Away (From Max 2). Maybe Butterfly Upswing as well. I live in Houston, TX where DDR Extreme has taken over almost at every single location listed on DDRFreak. I want to see the next mix of DDR if it comes back into the arcades with 400+ songs with the songs mentioned above. Hopefully Secret Rendevous, It's Raining Men, and Little Boy will be taken off this mix, all three of those songs suck |
