Looking at the pictures, ITG seems like shit, or at least something I wouldn't regularly go to the arcade to play. I agree with DDRmaniacplayer, it's too Americanized, and a bad attempt to replace DDR. _________________

I remember about a year ago there was this DDR Ripoff that Was the EXACT same thing as this, and konami sued the Crap out of them.
That was funny.
I'd never give up a Disney's Rave for one of these things. Electrical Parade. I mean, Seriously. _________________

I, personally, cannot think of a single reason why I would not choose this machine over my current one.
I've played every DDR song already. I'm interested in these ITG songs; they look like alot of fun. The spread of difficulty is superior to DDR. The variety of modes is superior to DDR. The mod selection is far superior to DDR. The arrow graphics have improved greatly over time.
There are about seventy songs, and over 500 step charts. |

Hm, I have to play before I'll give my opinion one way or the other.
Have any of the people who hate it, actually played it? _________________

I want to play ITG! And if DDR is dead anyways, who cares if ITG takes over? People who have never played t are probably being (Word of the day) "Argumenative". |

According to the people at Roxor (spoken to them personally during a beta test), they already cleared all the legal hurdles. Konami actually can't do anything since AM, the company behind PIU, has the legal rights to dancing games in America. Roxor already worked it out with AM to distribute the game in America.
The only disappointment is that the 1st release will have about as many songs as DDR 3rd Mix (Japanese Release). But if it takes off, expect it to hit in the 200+ song range. THe only major prob they are having is getting the copyrights to the songs they want to include. _________________

I just read AAron in japan site and it appeard that 3rd+ only had in the mid 50's of songs (3rd mix haveing even less). ITG already has over 70 songs. In addition to that these are 70 NEW songs (more "new" songs than in any ddr mix). Just imagine the song total for ITG's later mixes. |

Will this game only be available in arcades, or can I buy a PC and/or console version?
Will it only be available in the US? |

A retail PC/console version is currently on the backburner until they finally start shipping out retail arcade kits.
But it wont really matter since you'll be able to edit & create steps on SM, upload it to a "thumb" drive (portable HD) then play your own steps and save your scores at the arcade.
The other questions about being US only, not sure on. You'd prolly should ask on their forum website.
And Japanese 3rd mix had 70+ songs (if include the songs in 2nd & 3rd mix mode) _________________
