DDR Gambling...

I don't know if this has caught on yet, but I've been seeing tons of low-amount betting going on as of late. You know, people betting each other quarters that they'll do better on a certain song, etc, etc. The highest bet I've seen so far is $5 for a set of three songs.

Anyone else doing it, or seen it?

Personally, I like it.

Makes things much more interesting.

I remember winning a $5 bet a long time ago. I was tempted to keep doing it, but I remembered that eventually, everyone's luck runs out, so I just stopped and enjoyed my small winnings.

If you want to make some good money betting on DDR just go into a arcade you haven't been before and watch the other players. If you absolutely know you can own everyone of them just hustle them. Challenge another player, make a small wager, and lose on purpose.
After that ask the same player if you can win your money back but this time put more money on the table, if hes a real sucker he'll take the bait. Totally own his s*it and collect the moneys. Its not about winning the money, the more import thing is the look on the dudes face after you punked him at his own game.

hehe, once, i was at an arcade with my friend (whos not all that great) and there was a dispute about whose turn it was to go. this little punk thought he could get in, so we wagered our spot in line hehe. i beat him squarely, except for the friggin last song. he chose HVAM, right, and dude, i wass walkin around on the pad and i turned on hidden and reverse! like omg....i decided to be a nice guy and let the kid play, cause i just didnt wanna deal with the kid. i wish i woulda bet money though...that woulda been cool.

The only time I've seen it is when people are joking around and saying stuff like "I'd give you $20 if you can do LoM on 8X and stealth" kind of crud. But I think I shall do this gambling thing....I'd wouldn't need to play for DDR (out of my pocket) for a while

yeah this huge black, REALLY obnoxious guy (no i'm not racist; of course there are obnoxious people in any race) came to the arcade trying to act all gangsta in front of his girlfriend so he goes to the kids playing and he's like "$100 bucks says i can take any of you" and i mean the kids didnt know if he was good or not and they didnt have it anyway so he was like "aright anythin you got i'll double it. i've never played in my life"

no one could tell if he was bluffing or if he was showin off for his honey, and besides, if anyone had beaten him he probably would've jumped them later.

so the moral is:

don't bet huge black guys that you can't defend yourself against.

I've bet my sister and her boyfriend moneys on DDR before, but that's it as far as betting where money actually changes hands. I make bets just for the sake of betting all the time, but it's just like, "I bet you can't pass Sakura Heavy." (Damn right I can't)
