Depends.

My friends who regularly play are all more skilled than I am, so if I pick it, chances are they'll be able to play it as well (there's a FEW I can do and others can't, but that's a rare occurence).

If someone's shadowing me and I don't want them to, I do one of two things: 1) push them the f*ck off the pad or 2) play a song I KNOW they can't follow (300 on 1.5 usually does the trick).

well, i had to teach all my friends to play, cuz they didn't know what ddr was, so they all pretty much suck. it's so fun to change it to standard or something while they're not looking and laugh at their frustration at a 6 or 7. lol

One of my friends absolutly hates bag, so I play it regularly with him...

Lesee, I can pass Do Me! and Ninzaburo, and none of my close friends can pass it. I know a little kid that can pass Lupin the 3rd '78 on MANIAC! That is a hard song!

A friend of mine can pass Era~nostal mix~ on hvy... THATS IT

I can pass anything but 10 footers drop out so deep and paranoia rebirth, so i usually pick one of the MANY songs i can pass and she will get real pissed that she cant pass them and she will either hit me or push me in to the wall next to the machine.

p.s and she tells every body that she is a full fledged heavy player

yeah i do that a lot. I taught my friends ddr and they're less than 5 footers and hardly play like maybe once in a while for fun. For my brother's friends i suggest songs that my bro and i can do and they can't like max 300 on light. My brother hasn't played in a long while and i beaten songs i've never seen him done. He was the one who taught me to play. So now im better than him. im up to a level 9 almost have max300(heavy). sweet
