I feel your pain.... I was playing nonstop mode one day, and all of the sudden, the down arrow in my pad went kaput~! I've been slowly going insane to play ever since..... I hope I get a new pad or two soon.... Or I'm gonna go REALLY crazy~!! _________________

I think I might be sick, and I'm trying to follow all the advice I've read about not playing at all when you're sick...so I'm fighting back the urge to play it (my PS2 is less than two feet away...must...fight it...) _________________

I have been in withdrawl for months. MY Pad broke and I am building a new one that I didn't have time to work on regularly, so now that I finally have time, I am doing as much as possible. Hopefully I can play soon. _________________

Go to BemaniStyle or DDR:UK to search for DWI's. Then go to Program Files | StepMania CVS | Songs, and create a new folder to store your songs. Unzip everything into that folder (Winzip should automatically create a new folder for each pack of files you unzip). Now you're ready to play!
If you accidentally put something in the wrong folder, StepMania should tell you while it loading. _________________

Using stepmania i play the demos, and i bring my dance pad in front of the computer screen and dance along like i'm actually playing! The only problem is that i can't control the setting, they play a lot of heavy and standard songs, and i'm not that advanced yet. But it's working to help me improve, cept i cant see my score at the end of a song. |
Your best bet is going to ddruk.com and registering for the downloads. They have every DDR song made for Stepmania and DWI. Love the Max. period song. Oh so hard at the end. _________________

Dang, where you live, it's like an arcade heaven. Probably you don't have the time to play in the arcade.
With me, I sometimes experience DDR Withdrawl. I would think about the game and use my fingers to emulate sounds of some of the songs. _________________

DDR is great.. but if anyone has ever played counter-strike (on pc of course) you know that once you stop playing.. you wont last 2 days without breaking down and playing for hours on end... that has got to be the worst game.. its too addicting _________________

Super withdrawl, here. My local arcade turned off all the machines right as I chose Dead End... Now, I'm randomly practicing the steps! In public! _________________
