Any reviews for this platform? +'s and -'s? i think i might get it because i cant afford metal pads. (sorry, it didnt look like a metal pad or a soft pad so i just made a new topic for it)

if you're talking about the plastic ones, let me summarize... they suck. badly. I could go into all the reasons why, but its been said so many times that just take my word for it. they suck. dont buy them. just... just don't

I bought the hard plastic ones (because I didn't have enough for metal) and at first I hated it because it would slide around (carpet) and it was just horrible. Then I worked with a few things and found that putting a towel under it makes it so it won't move an inch, even when playing 10 foots. If you're looking for something cheap then go ahead, I don't recommend online play with it though, just for practice. It beats a soft pad, but I'd save for a metal.

I wont be playing online for years to come, I'd explain but it gets kinda involved.

But the one that comes with the game, its cover slides around and crinkles up. So i'd like something that wouldnt do that and this is only like 70 bucks US, so i was thinking of getting it.

Edit: OR I might get two of those Ignition V2 style pads, so i can Verse with Colin and Nathan also.
