What is your favorite Arcade mix?

Extreme is the best, because it has most of the songs that I love. MAX2 will always hold a special place in my heart, though, because that's where I learned to play. (and maybe that's why most of my favorite songs can be found on the later mixes i.e. 6th-8th...hmmm...)

Hard for me to choose which one. 5th had the long version songs and 4th plus had some of my favorite songs like FURUHATA'S THEME, SHOOTING STAR, and SKY HIGH by LUCYFER. Then there's DDR Extreme that has like 248 songs, loved the DAM DARIRAM challenges steps and the LOVE LOVE SHINE challenge steps, and like the choice of being able to play either nonstop (usually play random bemani on difficult) or Oni courses. I just wish it had Road of Revolt. I don't like playing the same oni courses over and over and missed playing it from the jp extreme.

Easy question, easy answer: FIFTH MIX.

60 fps, huge variety of songs, original DDR announcer, new song menu interface, and so on.

When I was in Las Vegas for Christmas I was so happy to find a decent 5th Mix machine at the NY-NY casino. I got more attention playing Conga Feeling Maniac Doubles than someone passing Max300 on the Max2 machine across the hall.

I really REALLY love 5th Mix and I wish there was one around me that I could play on.

5th is one of my favorites, but i just noticed something about it: some of the songs, their Maniac steps are really Maniac2's from 4th. (and now Challenge's in Extreme)

Going by songs I say that 5th mix is the best. I've played extreme at an arcade in Pharr,TX and it had less number of songs than 5th mix. I guess because the songs in 5th mix were unlocked.

i've always had a soft spot for 5th mix because that's the machine i drew my first big crowd with (orion .78 ameuro 1x). also, it has the song Hot Limit which is just plain awesome.
