Guys , why can't i store my scored on my mem card?

any ideas why?
i inserted the mem card as told etc..
played finish..
saved..
pull out then put back in..
then no scores are updated..

as in no grade.. etc..

did you put the save file image on your memory card first? you can't just walk up and stick it in the machine, you have to use a dex drive or something similar to put the file on the card first, then the machine saves to the file.

if you did, sometimes the mem slots don't work correctly. one of my local machines doesn't seem to have them plugged into the board, they're just kinda there.

i don't know the url for the memo card thread but it's here...basically you have to either make link data with 5th mix home, or use a dex drive? then make sure when you stick it in, it says "inserted" and ready in blue..then you're good to go.

well, "inserted" and "ready" just means that i sees the memory card there. it doesn't actualy check to see if the file is there, it just tries saving to it. no a very smart machine..

Some memory card slots on the machines don't work. You may have a crappy DDR machine that you are using. Also is it American or Japanese?

I got my data from 5th Mix home version. Try to find that.
