I don't know about u guys but it seems to me in these forums there is A LOT more talk about hard songs and PAing and stuff then Freestyling and stuff like that. Now don't get me wrong i also like to play hard songs(worked my way up to beating just about everything but LOM and PSM) but FS just seems the funner (less tiring also!) thing to do.
so basically....what do u like better |

Um...well, I had to have my style surgically removed (it started to develope cancer), so I guess I'm stuck as a PA player...but mostly I play for fun _________________

I'm more of a PA'er just because of the fact that I can't dance. I attempt FS just for fun but I never made up a whole routine or anything. _________________

PA and hard songs all the way, d00d. I'd prefer see a guy AA LOM, or Max. than see a guy act like monkey and get a b best on a light/standard song. _________________

I play for fun right now. I'll make a sad attempt at a PA every now and then, but I really hate to t3ch 'cause I kinda find it boring.
And Respect Paranoia, have you actually seen any GOOD freestyle routines? If you have and still think like that, you have your own opinions, I guess. Tell you the truth, I wouldn't like watching you play much if you don't at try to look like you're having fun. |

I'm with you on the freestyling dude! Freestyle all the way! Besides, if you're GOOD, you can PA WHILE freestyling. Okay sorry, I'm done now!
PS - Doesn't it make more sense seeing that the game is called DANCE DANCE Revolution? |

I perfer FS. Though i'm not any good at this point. But i also want to try out PA too. FOR ALL THOSE PAer's WHO THINK THAT FS PEOPLE CAN'T PLAY ANYTHING BUT LIGHT/STANDARD. It's good to be in both FS and PA if you are already a FS. Though i havn't created a routine yet, FS IS THE WAY TO GO. _________________

Hmm...this kinda sounds like this other thread that was up here a while ago about FS and PA...this might get locked...Oh well, whatever...PAing is ok for a while, but if a good number of ppl can AA LoM, PSMO, and other stupid hard songs, everyone around will stop caring, which is exactly what happened where I'm from. So, everyone started FSing, and since no two ppl can do the same exact thing unless they ripped a routine from someone else, it's more interesting to watch. Therefore, I would prefer FS over PA any day. _________________

Freestyle, I enjoy doing it more.
But Pa isn't that bad either. _________________

I'm starting to PA. Good freestyle is fun to watch.
spinning on AFRONOVA or END OF THE CENTURY is NOT freestyle. _________________

I've been known to freestyle max300 heavy jokingly on occasion.
But for me, it's hard songs all the way. If you want to dance, go to a club IMO. _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

When I was first playing DDR, all I cared about was FS. I wasn't like most DDR players who wanted to do PA. Everytime I played DDR during my early years, I did strictly freestyle. Then, in late 2001, I started to become involved into PA, and I was getting better. I still freestyle, but since there haven't been many freestyle tournaments lately, I've put freestyle on hold. _________________
