Hmm...I got pure techno as well.
Regardless of that weird survey, my favourite dance music is trance and happy hardcore. _________________

There is a good reference with samples if you're really interested in electronic music but don't want to traipse through hundreds of downloads. |

Orchestral trance? Don't make me laugh. For 2, 3 and 4 I got Experimental, Techno and Breakbeat, all of which I like. In fact, if you were to ask me my favorite electronic genre outright without making me take a test, I'd say experimental.
This thing is dumb though...it gives two varieties of trance and two varieties of rave, but only lists the incredibly broad breakbeat genre...what if I like jungle but not 2-step? Meh. _________________

I got Orchestral Trance. Suprisingly, Speed Rave was number ten for me. But about http://www.ishkur.com/features/music/index.htm
That guy is extremely bigoted and opinionated when it comes to music. He hates everything that isn't acid trance or sounds like acid trance and despises everything that hit the mainstream, like Happy Hardcore. The guide is good, but it isn't good to take heed of what he says. _________________

Number one for me is orchestral trance. That seemed more like a "what music do you prefer" quiz than a "what music would you best dance to quiz"...
I DO like orchestral trance though _________________

pure techno was toward the top, but shouldve been #1 - i absolutely LOVE pure techno (the likes of adam beyer, ben sims, marco carola, technasia, etc.)
the only accurate thing about that list was the trance stuff toward the very bottom
AND WHERE THE FUCK IS FUNKY HOUSE??

Read the disclaimer. He fully acknowledges that the genre descriptions are filled with his personal opinions and biases and makes no apologies for it. _________________

i loved 2step garage before i checked out his site, but then i kinda realized how much better real garage is in comparison
for two real garage tracks, try:
da mob, jocelyn brown - fun (main vocal mix)
joe t. vanelli feat. csilla - play with the voice (psycho bitch dub) |
