Ok i don't know if this has happened to anyone else, but i hope it doesn't.

Anyway, today i was home playing DDRMAX2 and when i was done i was going to pud my pad away like i normally do. Anyway when i picked up the pad i got a tremendous static shock. Fearing the worst i plugged the pad back into the ps2 to see if the circuits were fried and sure enough they were. Opening up the pad i found the circuit board, however its not too easy to take it out, therefore a simple solder job couldn't be accomplished. On the plus side the store will take the pad and replace it once they get it in stock. And double plus the place i returned it to was near an arcade so i got to play there as well.

Anyway, just wondering has this happened to anyone?

That's odd. Isn't the circuit board under a piece of plastic? How did your static shock get to it? Oh well, it's good that you can get a new one. Don't think that has happened very often before.

ah alas my problem has been solved. the store has ordered the pad from another retailer in nj and i will soon get it once again, + a trip to the mall to play DDR in the arcade there.

Ah nonetheless:
do you think i should contact redoctane about this, and if so, who should i contact/email address, etc..
