Hardest and Easiest 9 footers.

I'm just curious which one people seem to think is the hardest and easiest.

Tsugaru and Kakumei are definitely too easy to be considered 9 footers... But at the same time, they're too hard for 8 footers... There should be an inbetween

yeah Kakumei is extremely easy for a 9 footer, wouldn't say the same thing about Tsugaru though, I thought taht was aboubt average for a 9 footer. Another extremlly easy 9 footer: paranoia clean mix on hvy (the one with the green picture..). I passed it my first try, nvr had done the song before. Theres more but I can't think of em right now.

Hardest: MAX. Standard, Cartoon Heroes, Ninzaburo(Furahata's Theme)

Hardest: Max. Standard (you'd be surprized how freaking hard this song is...and it is only and standard song!) , Cartoon Heroes, So Deep (I don't care what anyone says...this is a tough song.), etc...

Kakumei deserves the 8 footer. Xenon does too. And Kakumie challenge is about a 6... Paranoia Clean is like a 7 footer...

On side note, I think Paranoia Evolution should be a 9 footer...

I love Xenon and Kakumei, I think they deserve to be 9 footers. Kakumei may have some empty spaces, but towards the end it gives any PA'er a run for their money. As for Xenon, well ask any amateur to give a go at 16th's and they'll probably give up after the first set. Xenon is most definetely a 9 footer.

Furuhata's Theme and So Deep should be 10 footers.

No way is Xenon an 8; it is one of the harder 9's IMO. And Kakumei is hard to PA, so it is 9 worthy.

FT wouldn't be so bad if I could speed mod it...even so, aside from the weird gallopy section, it isn't too hard...not one of the hardest nines anyway...

Edit: A is easy? Pfft, whatever. I find it harder than HVAM (which I have A'ed and nearly full-comboed on more than one occasion. I can't say that about A...)

Cartoon Heroes is definitely the hardest 9, I haven't tried it on my feet in about 4 months, but for some reason I have trouble full-combo-ing it on Stepmania (BTW I can pass 12s on Stepmania).

when I first played Paranoia KCET I thought I may have acidentally put it on standard. Paranoia Evolution is muuuch harder than that song ^__^

Hardest: HV:AM

Easiest: Matsuri Japan and Paranoia KCET

i can get about 1/2 to a 1/3 way thru Cartoon Heroes on 1.5x ^__^

As Mysterio said, FT would not be that hard without speed mods. I tried it on a Solo 4th Mix and died at the weird gallops.

Other easy catas - Tsugaru (apple mix), Orion78 AMeuro(w/ speed mods), Saint Goes Marching is a pretty easy cata that is thought by many that have not played it to be challenging, as how I thought before I played it.

Hard catas - Trip machine Climax, Fantasy (MAX1) O_O, Flash in the Night.

I personally have issues against A oni..and Kakumei (alas) is definitely one of the easier 9-footers, unless you're looking to PA or full-combo the ending there. That took me quite a while to figure out :/

But clean mix takes the cake for easy 9-footers.
