I dunno...I got a Radeon 64MB PCI once and the darn thing was slower than the 16MB card I was trying to replace! I whacked a GeForce2 MX 64MB PCI in there, and what a difference!
So from my experience, I'd get a GeForce 4MX PCI (you can't get GF2's anymore). Though if I were buy a decent AGP card, I'd go for a Radeon.

That card should definitely be good enough. What kind of TV you got? If it isn't an HDTV set the simulator to rn at 640X480 to prevent any lag. |

I personally use an AverMedia VGA->S-Video/RCA convertor. Cost about $70, so kinda steep compared to bargain bin video cards, but if you already have a decent card this could be a good option. Its very clear, doesnt require any screwing around with drivers, and can work on any system (ie, my laptop). However, might be a bit more money and requires an extra power outlet. Its an option though. |

I own this card myself. Good all around, and the S-Vid out works perfectly with my SM.
