yes....that's exactly how I feel about it......Why doesn't this game get as enough attention as the others?.....I mean, it's a really fun game...Half of the fun is just learning the routines and doing them......

I think the same can be said of all Bemani games. Okay, you can pass Max 300, then what? Well, then go for better accuracy. I've seen people on PPP who have the routine nailed down *tight* but still get misses. The great thing about all Bemani is that there's always a "Then what?" Yasu can AAA Max 300, but can he AAA Demon Road? Nope. Room for improvement.
I've got a couple PPP routines that I can do, but my accuracy needs improvement, and there are plenty of other songs!
Perhaps the two things that hurt PPP more than anything are:
1) Since you're not physically interacting with anything, it tends to look a bit silly. I've been to Good Times only twice, and both times, near the end of the night, there were groups of inebriated people who had wandered over from the bar area and were openly laughing at the PPP dancers. Very sad.
2) The music is very homogenized. Extreme has such a wide scope of music, from V to Jet World to Candy to Jane Jana, even crap like 5.1.1., which gives it aural variety to keep you stimulated. PPP has a lot of songs, but not a lot of variation in sound.

Has Konami officially cut the PPP umbilical or might we ever see a 3rd Mix?

PPP>DDR. I played it on arcade cabinet for the first time today. I love it. It was worth the 2 hour drive to Nashville to play it. Actually I got in the door like 5-10 minutes ago and wanted to post how happy I am about it. Playing on PS2 is fun and watching the VCDs. But playing in an arcade is even better. And I must say paralists are nicer than DDR players.

Also I learned this, if male bemani fan wants to pick up a girl... become a para para god. You get more compliments from fangirls.

It was funny how all the girls that I went with (self included) where practically worshipping this one guy who was pretty damn awesome. Our guy friends came to check on us cause they were a little threatened. Though it turned out the guy was gay so they were not as worried.

Unless you freestyle...heh, seems I'm disliked by most Bemani enthusiasts. riiight.gif

I hate how they always sidetrack para too....¬_¬;; but it aint gonna change. And sadly there will never be a ver. 3! As much as i love PPP its just got a niche audience. I agree that PPP crowds>DDR crowds (from experience). Plus everyone knows we're the most stylish of all bemani players ^^.

I play at a place called LV and the machine is in the prime location (i.e in front of the ez2d, pump and DDR extreme machines). Also the volume has been put up so its actually louder than the other machines laugh.gif

Heh - At least it has a thread in OB&MG. I see no Dance Maniax thread here.

I wish I could try PPP in an arcade without having to drive all the way to DBA to do it. I got to play it at AWA last year, but only two songs, and even that was a stretch.

Tell me about it for I feel your pain. I live in Huntsville. I was at DBA on Sunday and didn't leave til they closed. I got home around 1am. But it was worth the drive up.

I wonder if I can get a PPP cabinet with my tax return. Hmmmm ponder.gif

Let's all think up of an excuse for PPP to be deductible on our taxes. laugh.gif Say that you have your own home buisness, an arcade, and that you bought the game for your buisness. E13.gif

I can afford a 2nd Mix! Though shipping would kill me. So a lesser mix may be preferable.

Hey guys! E4.gif

Just thought I would post since I had no clue there was a PPP thread on here. I just started doing para back in October when I finally got my hands on some videos I could learn from. I STILL haven't played the game....the only time I've even seen a cabinet was in Orlando and it was broken when I went. frown.gif

It's nice to see a PPP community around here!
