IIDX 6th PS2 - Question

I'm curious as to whether this is a DVD disc or a CD Disc. I myself have a swapdisc (Swap Magic 2.0) that allows me to play my imports/backups. My PS2 is the new series. The CD disc will not allow a boot on the new series PS2. The DVD disc, however will still boot up as normal.

All I really want to know is, before I go and spend $200+ on a controller and the game, and shipping... Will I be able to play it? DVD disc, or CD ?

In all seriousness, it's a DVD. It should say on the disc whether it's a CD-ROM or DVD (CD-Roms usually have that little label that says DISC, DVD has it's own "DVD" and "ROM" underneath).

Also, PS2 CD games are always blue-bottomed (underside of the disc color). DVD games are usually gold or silver.

One more thing, the only PS2 Bemani games that are CD-Based, in case you may consider getting more games, are

The rest are all DVD.

You know, i had the same problem with my boot disc. (if i'm reading it rite) , LIke none of my cd base games didn't work. I just had someone clean the ps2 for me and now my ps2 can boot up both cd and dvd games for me.
