Homemade pad |
thx diabloslayer469 for the advice, but where do you get all the supplies for it and how do you know you got the right ones? and also does the home made pad has the same quality as store made ones? and is it hard to make? |

Homemade pads are the best pads period, even better than the CF, because, they use a superb contact system, just like the CF, but you built the pad, so you know how to fix it if something goes wrong. You can also add lights. It's not that hard to make, you just need to right tools. I recommend making RipTides' pad as he has a video of how to make the pad along with pictures.

Don't know any others, you'll probably have to try download again later. |

I just bought this pad:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3073613781
I personally played on it at Anime Owns You in Ft. Worth, and it works great. I bought a copy of DDR Max 2 yesterday. All the peices are coming together! Time to do the *essential* mod on that biyatch! _________________

Well, I havent even had my Red Octane Metal Pad for a month, and it's already starting to act up. The right arrow is sticking in place, and refuses to stop registering.
EDIT: Im going to try cleaning the contacts. Whats the proper way of opening up a panel and manuvering through everything inside to get to the contacs? _________________

I have a red octane metalpad. How would I get plywood to stay in place under the red octane metalpad? I was wondering if it would be possible to extend the plywood out on the back of the metal pad and put a bar there? Has anyone modified their metal pad to have a bar? If so how did you do it and where did you get the bar? Any reply would be appreciated. _________________
