Well, I signed it, but I honestly don't know how getting random signatures from kids on a game forum is going to convience your parents to let you play... I agree with Remy on this one... I know, believe me I KNOW parents can be a pain, but I also know that once you get out of high school or move out of the house you start to appericate all the hard work and decisions that they made and did in your life. If you have indeed talked with them, then I really don't think that your parents are going to appericate this too much, they'll probably just be irratated with your presistance and annoances...

So, instead of just signing it I put a possible solution down, and it worked with my parents, maybe it'll work with yours. But good luck either way, just remember, even though you may think that your request is small, maybe your parents have good reasoning behind their choices, and it IS THEIR house. Once you have to start paying rent, I'm sure you'll understand that more.

And one final note, I'm honestly not trying to take their side or come down on you too hard, I just want you to realize all of this and understand why this still may not work. I wish someone had told me these things when I was in high school, then I may not have gotten into so many fights with them... I was really hard headed and persistent... oh wait, when am I not!?

Anywhoo, I signed the petition. I will not forgive you for owning an XBOX (/Gamecube fangirldom) It wasn't a problem getting it for me, all I said was, "hey i played this cool game here is a bundle package can I have your credit card, here is some money."

The problem now is, I am building my own pad, which isn't finished, and my soft pad has died. I should have just got a red octane metal thingy...

I know how you feel. (Kind of) I ordered my DDR online and it still hasnt come yet. I've been DYING to play, but there arent any arcades near me that have a DDR machine.

I agree with Remy and Clover about your parents, how much you'll appreciate them when you get older and whatnot. But that is not the situation at the moment; you'll have time for that intospective reflection later.

Why won't they get you a pad? Is it the noise? Why not just play in the basement? Because of your little bros?
