My little project I have been working on, http://www.BringMoreBemani.com has went live. This website is basically an online petition that Namco Cybertainment will be checking to see if people are interested enough to bring over more Bemani games besides just DDR.
I know some people are going to be skeptical about this saying, "Hah, right, like Namco is even going to bother checking this little petition." Well they will be. I work for Namco Cybertainment as a store manager and our home office happens to be located in Chicago. The last couple of times I have been there I have been talking to the Director of Games and he has told me that he does not think that there is enough interest to bring these other Bemani games over. So this website IS going to be checked by him every so often to see how the signatures are progressing.
The games I am pushing to come over right now are Pop 'N Music, Beatmania IIDX, Guitar Freaks, and Drummania (all later mixes/styles if not the latest). Now, if Namco is convinced to get the games they will be brought in to the Chicagoland area for testing for a few months, and then possibly a nationwide rollout pending on their success.
So please, go register at http://www.BringMoreBemani.com and sign the petition.
AND PLEASE PASS THE WORD AROUND LOCALLY AMONGST YOUR FRIENDS IF YOU WANT TO SEE MORE BEMANI COME TO AMERICA!!!

only way to get stuff done is (as always) to do it ourselves! The crew here along with everyone nationwide should be doing all they can to convince overseas that we in fact love ddr as well as all kinds of Bemani. So, do your part for the greater good. Take the time to register and sign a little post. Maybe tell some friends about it. It's the least you could do and every little bit helps.

You're in Traverse city? AFC near Detroit has IIDX 8th and BM III 7th, as well as a GF and DM. And then there's a place by Toronto with PNM 6, IIDX 8th, GF10/DM9, DDR (of course), PPP 2nd Mix, DMX 2nd Mix, and some other odds and ends.

This is for more GF/DM, IIDX, and Pop'n machines in Namco arcades. If you read, the head of gaming development or something is actually checking the threads, and the guy that put up the site is talking to him, etc. Namco arcades are all over the place, so sign it! It takes like 2 minutes.
