well they get recycled. they go up past the "brackets" (i call em that. its where your supposed to hit em) and then into the machine and distributed among various songs songs.

kind of stupid but o well.

. I think they get off of the screen caus the lazer in the CRT is done with that arrow.

I think the arrows do get recycled...although I feel bad for letting them go bye bye when I get a good..almost..and bad..miss...N.G etc..

Poor arrows..its like I killed them...

Um yeah, it's obvious this guy hates DDR. Anyways, back on topic. I take a less positive outlook on life. When you do good, you zap the arrows into nothingness. If you're doing really good (100+ combo), your arrow zapper gets upgraded to an arrow exploder. Hit an arrow right and watch the fireworks. If you misstep, the arrows escape until they reappear on the bottom of the screen to try to escape a horrible fate again. Luckily the arrows reproduce fast so we never run out of arrows to DDR to.

I prefer to think of it as the arrows I hit are caught, and the rest are free, like little fishies... I catch a lot, and that is happy because fish are yummy, and the ones that are free are nice too.

I've often wondered this myself. I would like to think that they go to a better place....somehow I think they just go into the insides of my eyelids so that whenever I close my eyes I see the ghosts of the lost arrows!
