Hey. Not sure if anyone even reads these, but I suppose it's just something to do. Name's G, and, well, obviously, DDR happens to be one of my hobbies. O_o Not sure what else to put in here, so, well, hi.
Poetic, no? _________________

Well, my name's Crackerz D'Lite, and it's a nickname I picked up in high school. Let's just say that I am white, and am not so Lite...yet.
Anyway, I decided to throw caution into the four winds, and try out DDR. I never considered myself dance inclined, so I figured I'd give everyone at work a good laugh (I work at a movie theater, so we have an Extreme Machine there...). Well, I did okay at beginner mode, but when someone dropped the hint about not returning to the center of the pad (you can say duh all you want), I started to make some progress. I've only been playing for five days, and I'm starting to get into it. I generally picked songs from what I thought sounded good, and didn't pay any attention to how hard they might be, so it overwhelmed me at first. I like "Dar Diriram," "Frozen Ray," "l'amour et la liberte," "sync," and "Drop the Bomb." I'm past Beginner mode, and do pretty well on Light. I'm probably gonna try a few Standard. 1/8 steps are gonna be fun...

Hi, I'm Terry. I've been playing DDR for about a year and a half. I can pass any song but PSM Oni. I'm really into stealthing, although I can only do 3 songs on heavy. I'm trying to go for a minimum of at least 15 heavy stealths. I'll keep going no matter how exhausted I am from playing for hours. ...........I'm done with my intro |

Yo, wassup everyone? I registered here last week and havn't had the time to post...until now!*que maniacal laughter* MWAHAHAHAHA *end maniacal laughter*...
Now that I have that out of my system-for the time being- I guess I'll give a little intro. about myself.
My name's Chad. I currently go to a residential art highschool (i.e. art highschool, not college...i get that a lot). Me and about three other people play DDR. At the beginning of the school year, I had never played DDr before. A month into the semester, and one of my colleagues bought DDR Konamix and two dance mats...and what little...er...well...oh, all right, I still have a lot of free time, but ever since then I've had a lot less free time =/.
As of now, I am "decent" at DDR, IMO. I can't freestyle that much, if at all, but I can double on standard/heavy sometimes, usually getting C's or B's. My real forte is heavy on single pad. I have passed every song on DDRMax 2 on heavy at least once. I've gotten to were I can get a C on Burnin Heat 3rd option Mix (which is one of my top 10 fav. songs) and a B on BreakDown (also top 10 fav. songs). The only songs that really give me problems now are Conga Feeling, Long Train Runnin', So Deep, and Maxx Unlimited. The first three give me problems only if they are on 1x speed and Maxx Un. is just...Maxx Un. I guess. Any tips on these? Oh and is using speed modifiers considered cheap/noobish?
Well, that is all the time I have today, ladies and gent's. But before I go, does anyone here play DDR at the casino's/ arcades on the Mississippi Gulf Coast or at the Papa John's in M'boro, KY. I usually play at the arcades every other weekend and will probably be spending most of my time this summer at Papa John's...I'm just tryin' to size up the comp. a lil, LOL...j/k.
I g2g to class now...Peace eezy all.
Oh, and my bad for no tpostin' this on this thread to begin with...I don't usually look at the announcement threads on forums...bad habit I need to break. |

I'm Pixy *waves* and I used to post here way back in the day . . . well, not really, but like right before this summer I did. But now I'm back. Hurrah. Anywho, I first played DDR a year ago, but I've been playing religiously for about 8 months now. I'm on Heavy, and I'm the reason Cartoon Heroes and Exotic Ethnic are two of the most played songs I also love Miracle Moon, Senorita Speedy Mix, Look to the Sky, Ordinary World, Paranoia KCET, and Drop Out. I guess that be it. _________________

Name: Trance ReMix!
Been playing DDR since: 10-02
Ability: ok - I can pass nearly every 8 and nine, but the only tens I can pass are Sakura and Bag
Favorite Songs: HVAM, era (nostalmix), Holic, So Deep (Perfect Sphere Remix), Tsugaru, Matsuri Japan, Freckles, Love Shine, Mohou no Tobira
Tournaments: None yet, but Rhythm Explosion is coming up! I'm not going to win, but it'll be fun anyways!
Random: I've been playing since October of 2002, but I really got addicted last year. I'm not very good at perfect attack (only about 10 AA's to my name so far, and no AAA's), and I have no style to speak of, but I enjoy playing anyways. I'm working on PA, cuz I want to enter into more tournaments. My favorite mixes are Max2 and Extreme - the other mixes are ok, but since I started on a Max2, I'm more familiar with the later songs (plus some older classics like Butterfly). I frequent the pads at Tilt Laguna Hills, UCI, Boomers (Irvine), Nickel Nickel (Lake Forest), and when I'm up w/ my girl in Davis, Tapioca Express in Davis. I guess that's it, so...yeah |

Hi, my name's Toji. I started playing DDR about 6 months back, but because i don't play regularly, i'm only able to play at a 5-6 foot difficulty level. _________________

Ability: Ok, I can pass most 8's and 9's, but the only 10's I can pass are Sakura and Bag
Favortie Songs: HVAM, A, era (nostalmix), holic, Tsugaru, Matsuri Japan, Sobakasu Freckles, Love Shine, Mahou no Tobira
Best Song: Err...Love Shine, I think. I'm not great at PA, but I'm proud of my 14 greats...AAA, here I come!
Random: I've been playing since October of '02, but I really got addicted last year. I'm working on my PA skills, because while I can pass a lot of songs with A's, I only have about 10 AA's to my name. I frequent the pads at Tilt Laguna Hills, Boomers Irvine, UCI, Nickel Nickel Lake Forest, and occasionally, Irvine Lanes. I've never been in a tournament before, but I entered in Rhythm Explosion. I've been posting in these forums for a while(check my joining date), but never actually properly introduced myself. Look below at my sig, those are the previous usernames I've been under(for anyone who's been a member here long enough) if you recognize them. My name's Raine(yes that is my name), female, 20 yrs old, otherwise known as <-------Look at username, on DDRfreak. Obviously, it may change again....and again....and again. Once in a while I share this account/username, whatever you wanna call it, with a guy friend of mine. Been playing DDR since 2000, but can only pass about eight 9-footers. I never really get a chance to play that much anymore mostly because of everything else that steals a part of my life away. But I always play when I can. That's all I can say now I guess.
