I signed this petition because I too love DDR and I believe that no house should be without it.
Plus, one of my friend's parents won't let him get it because it's too loud when you jump around and he really likes the game, so it kinda sucks to be him. His parents are annoying too... _________________

My parents were very accepting of DDR. Of course, my PS2 is in the basement. Good luck though.

Looks like this will be quite successful... It's been posted for 20 minutes and 4 signatures (plus yours) already! I really hope this persuades them. _________________

Ah yes, the ye olde "dont you be jumping on the floor upstairs, ya' hear!" from parental units. Yeah they do the same with me so if I want to use a pad I have to disconnect my ps2 and connected it down stairs blah blah blah. But playing ddr on the controller (on the ps2 I use the triangle , square, circle and X button to play) it will help you with your sight reading, wich is a huge part of ddr. Also further note you can get better by playing at the arcades. Plus your on standard so no one would laugh at you.
All right I'll shut up now and go sign the petition. _________________

I'm really troubled for the youth of the world when they think that getting 500 random strangers to sign an online petition is more effective than just having a talk with their parents. _________________

I'll sing it but I highly doubt your going to get 500 unless you post in every DDR form you can possibly find Also have to tired jumping around upstairs? @ my dads house nobody can hear cause its well built and the floor can take it easily, you should see if they can even notice you. BUt if your living in an old house it probly wont work out that way Try asking your brothers if they mind playing the basement, if they don't tell your parents that they don't give a poopy and they would have no reason to not let you play in the basement. If all else fails just buy ultramix and a pad and just play anyway, if you put up a fight they will probly give up in tring to stop you. |

Aw, I feel so bad that your parents won't let you stomp around in the house that they paid for.
Trust me, when you're the same age as your parents, and you have kids your age, there will be some new fad, and it will annoy the sh** out of you. So, have a serious talk with your parents. Let them know how much DDR means to you, how it's good for exercise, etc. If they still won't let you put it in the basement, well, no one said life is fair. When you turn 18, you can move out and buy all the DDR accessories you want. |

Yes, but if you read my little briefing, it says that I have been asking for it for over a year. I asked for a dance mat (I play Stepmania) and they said no. offered to only play when they are out. I'm just using this petition so my parents are aware at how much I really want this game, and how bad I've been waiting. I even saved up $90 just to import Ultramix from the states (because, as you all probably know, Ultramix wasn't released right away with the USA.)
Oh, and I forgot to mention this, but my parents agreed to rethink this if they see how badly I want this. I can see where my folks are coming with this, me not jumping around, but like, I just offered to unplug my 10-pound Xbox and take it downstairs and play it. I'm not saying I hate my parents and am doing this to piss them off, but, you know, It's like anything.
Thanks to all your comments. |

Remy, I'm sure he has tried a lot of times, and this could have his last resort or something. people aren't always as predictable as they seem. you should keep that im mind. _________________
