ok now i REALLY HATE THE HOMEPAD (soft kind), just 10 miniutes ago iw as playing kakumei on heavy, and i got to the end there was like 5 seconds of the song left and my pad was so slid back i lost my groove and FAILED and im really pissed off since i can usually do 6-7 footers(a 9 footer is a nice accomplishment for me). i just passed ma first cata today (paranoia KCET) and i felt the down button against the wall, i cant mod it bc im broke from supplies of makin ma metal pad. anyone who likes soft pads better are out of there minds. _________________

I like the Arcade one best, but my home one is great for pulling off moves that I can't really do (AKA, my foot taps it by accident and actually hits it!). |

Arcade is just simply better, despite the profound love and care I've given to my Home Pads. _________________

The question in the topic is a bit vague. If it's home soft pad vs arcade? No question in my mind, the arcade is better. But if it's a high quality hard pad like a Cobalt Flux, I'm not so sure the arcade is any better.
My home doubles CF setup is much more accurate than the arcade, it never loses freezes like the arcade, and I don't have to hit the arrows nearly as hard as I do at the arcade. So yeah, I like my home pad better than the arcade.
6+ months of use on the CF pads, and they still work perfect. _________________
