Odd DDR Habits!

considering my other annoying habits,
- i play sexy planet with a look of pure determination,and if i screw up right in the beginnig i'll probably start screaming at the machine.
-if the person i'm playing asks if they can pick Daikenkai,Matsuri Japan, or Tsugaru, i bow and say KONICHIWA at the beginning and SAYONARA at the end..yep
-if i miss a step i stomp extra hard on the arrow that i missed when it comes up again
-in the part of the song A where it goes -right,down,right/left,down,left/ right,left,right and so forth- i tell the person next to me "NO PAIN NO GAIN, BUT YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE PAIN CAN YOU?!"

yep yep, i'm sure i'll think of some more later

hehe... I think I have a few bad habbits...lets see here...

1. I HAVE to use the left pad. If i dont...i always fail for some reason
2. In afronova...when im doing the spins...I wave me arms around like a maniac...like im doing some kind of primal dance. People stare...
3. I will only play if i am wearing my Altus gloves...
4. on 321 stars...on standard...I always hand slap the last freeze arrow..
....wow there are alot...
5.OH! on B4u...I guess kinda in the middle..i dont remember what the step patten is exactly...but i get all soft...then like...i STOP this RL jump. Mmhmmm it gets on the arcade owners nerves.
6.I always start with Jana Jana (heavy)
7. and finaly...while im playing...like..during the song i always look behind me to see if anyones watching...

My odd ddr habits are:1. I always play on the left side myself. 2. if a friend of mine picks freckles I'll sometimes sing part of the song to unnerve them. 3. I usually play in shorts, these couple of hawaiian patterned ones. which would explain why i'm recognized at other arcades

Lol... personally I don't care what side I get... When I play with my bro I always take left but apart from that I never have any preference... I can't see how switching sides will make you fail, but that's just me...

well, if i do swith sides it'll just mess me up, it's beacause i'm so used to playing on the right side. i started playing on the right side and of all the times that i've ever played ddr, i've only played on the left side twice

and yes, my habits are very annoying i'm somewhat OCD, but it's ok because if i wasn't annoying i wouldn't have any friends

final freeze arrow? I tend to hold myself up on the bar and dig my heels into the pad while layed out at an odd angle ( think wile e coyote with rocket skates)

i play almost everything from konamix without the bar (im a bar raper extraordinare)

i bust out some mean@ss robot moves while playing days go by at home

Well I wouldn't say what I do is odd, though it is very annoying and weird.
Whenever I play a song I really get into that has a lot of steps and is a fast song, my mat (soft pad) either turns sideways or I do. No matter how much I try not to move myself, I either end up sideways on the mat, which makes me miss the arrows. Or my mat ends up sideways, which again makes me miss the arrows. That's why I'm going to invest in a metal pad, that way it won't happen or if there is sideways turning, it will only be me, lol.

-Spin the Disc (Heavy) During the beginning of the song where it sounds like it's ending I make my body go limp, looking like a robot that was turned off, and then quickly jump back to life with the next steps. I always like doing that...I do the same "dying" motion when the song ends.
-Drop Out (Heavy) During the part right before the 1/8th runs, where the 1/16th arrows are, I make a motion of like a bomb falling, it gets some attention at the arcades.
-Telephone Operator (Heavy) I just do this song so funny, the beginning right, right, left, left arrows I bob my head and body a lot more than they should...heh.
-Tsuagru (Heavy) I always do a random kind of karate pose during the freeze, followed by a funny face and say "HIYA!" Also, during the long freeze I have my head lowered, and slowly shake until the gallops start.
-era (nostalmix) (Heavy) During the slowdown, I make myself step like I am in the Matrix...actually, it's a lot more fun during standard. Then when it speeds back up...I start flailing like I normally do.
-Gamelon de Couple (Standard) Two words for you: dancing cactus.
-During Saints Go Marching I yell out the "Very good boy!", DXY! I yell out "Just disturbed guys!", Mr. T I yell out "Take me highhhhhher!", along with various other things I can't think of right now. Oh, of course, when I play Flash in the Night I always sing along with it (lucky for me I can only do that one at home).

i always look back to see if theres ppl watching(exhibitionist that i am)
i hit on a LOT of girls while im playing. man, bein azn is tha best.
i slap ppl. and curse. a bit too much, buh ah, frick it.

Sometimes I'll say something outloud in the middle of a song, whether I am in the middle of an insane combo, or I just messed one up. That's pretty much it though.
