What's on your feet while playing DDR?

I use my Nike Shox Stunners or my Ultraflights the stunners are good for jump heavy song sets while i use the ultraflights for the quick heavy step songs btw they're only about 13 ounces

i can't play shoeless in the arcade, the bolts hurt my feet.
in the arcade i play in VANS, Airwalks, or my Converse hi-tops or my Converse cross-trainers. The VANS and the Airwalks are padded so they feel good, and don't make your feet hurt, and the Converse are really light.

At home on my soft Igniton2 pad I usually wear socks or play barefoot. At the arcade (no DDR so I play Pump It Up there), I wear my stylish black&white Pumas. This may be a bit off topic, but does anyone know of a good way to keep your mat still on carpet, besides modding it?

I've *heard* that the best shoes to DDR in are high top converse shoes. The person also said that he puts Dr Scholl's in for the confort.

For the arcade, I take my running shoes. But I think I should invest in some comfy converses or skater shoes, as my feet end up hurting like a banshee....

i go with mah black etnies, low cut 2, they're cumfy and you can lase them as tite as you want, so they are cool for me to play ddr in, there the only shoes ive ever played in

at home nothing at all. at the mall my socks. the machine there really sux and if i keep my etnies on my feet starting hurting ALOT after 1 or 2 games.

i used to play in my dcs which are the-best-way-to-play until the other-day...rikka rikka(it Rhymed i had too)they got worn out and i got stupid converse and im sporting size 15 here so they look like clown shoes if they were raibow colored that is but i wore them in now there ok but theyll NEVER be better than the precious

but i usually play barefoot when noones in the arcade because the people who usually play ,play in army like boots and i think they walk in mud before they pla cause the pad has dirt all over it and its slippery so i play in socks and i got way more control even on maniac
