the sync'ing is pretty poopy...if i had made that dwi 2 months ago it probably would have been like that.

he used 0 gap.

its not WAY off though...so yea, if you can keep tempo at that kind of speed its possible to AAA.

and people havn't AAA"d it.

Volkov has. thats a PERSON.

i havn't. I've fc'd it like 20 times or so...the first time i had like 40 greats o_O every other time i've fc'd it i came really really really close to an AAA.

Right....Volkov. He's a monster of a Stepmania player. What's he average on Blur I wonder? How about you Reach? Any tips on Blur if you've beat it?

I can score higher than volkov on blur XD

i use a double setup though. Much easier...i can A it.

As for passing it on the arrow keys...VERY frick HARD. It can be done...yes...just keep playing hard stuff. Something like club is good practise for the fast doubles...and k8107 for the jackhammers. BUt yea...it even requires a bit of luck.

OR if you want to be teh ghey

just go play it on dwi. its pretty easy to pass.

how EXACTLY do you do jackhammers with one hand?

i myself play one handed but I have ALOT of trouble with those

heck i can do better at them with one hand than 2 but its just hard

they are my only weakness in a DWI thats why i CANT pass K8107

you just...do it XD

probably easiest if you keep your wrist on the desk while doing them, and just kinda spazz your hand....at the right speed. I wouldn't try them with 2 hands...kinda hard lol

takes a bit of practise

I just tryed and i can hit one key (jackhammer) 20 times in 1.5 seconds. Not bad

first try...

bout 35 keys in 1.5 seconds with 2 hands...don't think i can go much faster.

omg! i just downloaded that payon song from bemanistyle. on heavy mode was 13 greats (FC) from a AAA. I tried it on challenge... Is that supposed to be a joke?

Payon isn't that bad at all....you just have to sit and look at it.

the crazy parts....the freezes on anyway just alternate between the left arrow and a double.....left - double....over and over. Read it at 5x to get the hang of it. Figure that junk out and it becomes...almost a joke really.

Now Snow...that songs a doggy.
Very passable.

I really need to work on those jackhammer doubles. I play with the doubles setup (WASD and the arrows) and just can't seem to nail those at all. Am I doing something wrong or is there just hella practice involved here.

2 arrow setups that overlap eachother. 2 keys for each arrow.

Lol...yea, it makes tricky jackhammers or fast double patterns really easy to hit.

and you don't get ice climber v1 anymore. i don't even have it. the drills and stuff in it are like 1600 bpm...16th doubles in the middle section at like 190 bpm. lol

No wonder you got such a high score on that and k1087.

Play it on the fucking arrow keys or numpad or not at all.

Oh, and as for your keytaps, that's 25 in one second which is the same as I've done before twice. Stop doing stupid numbers and say WHAT YOU GOT IN A SECOND.

i can beat blur on the arrow keys....yea, its just alot frick harder. It usually takes a bit of luck and a good 25 trys or so to get past the double section. If i don't get too tired first...

I can still A it on the arrow keys o_O the only place i miss in the whole song is the doubles minus a good or miss in another section...so yea, if i can actually get through it my grade is good.

i do play k8107 on the arrow pad you wiglet. i don't play the double setup enough to get good at patterns that change alot, and i can't move my hand back and forth fast enough to hit the jackhammer and then back to the arrow keys without missing...

and ok

25.83 taps in 1 second. i just took the total time and number of taps...whatever. does it matter that much?

Reach, i downloded all of those songs. I am still in shock that you think payon isnt that bad. But i mean, songs like blur on challenge... that just makes me want to quit playing with my fingers

Although, on snow on heavy, i full comboed it with 19 greats (yes, i know... the song is for pads)

Also, on blur challenge, i comboed the first 200 some arrows, but those double steps TOTALLY rape me!

k8107, i AAed it on heavy, but on challenge, i cant get those "jack hammer" steps.

Pshh, and i thought i was good at stepmania

well, payon 2 is simple. Like...here...try this.

When you get to the freezes, simply tap left and alternate to smash the other 3 keys. repeat this over and over and just stay onbeat...not really that hard. the next part is just a different pattern...then for the rest you can just mash it like i said above.

You'll probably pass with a B...and that certainly wasn't hard now was it?

getting an AA on it can be tricky though.
