man we should start a petition to bemani or konami and ask them to put these songs in the game. cause just talking about it wont do anything, cause not its makiing me mad that these songs arent in the game.

Songs I'd put in DDR??? Let's see...definitely "Move Your Feet", and some of my choices:

I'm In Heaven -- Jason Nevins
This Is The Right Time -- Lisa Stansfield
Is This The Beat? or A Boy Like That -- Selena
Pretty much any fast Spice Girls song, especially "Holler" and "Who Do You Think You Are?"
Shame -- Zhane
I See Right Through To You -- DJ Encore
Todokanu Omoi -- Three Lights (Sailormoon)
Slave To The Rhythm -- Grace Jones (This would be cool as one of those slower songs like "So In Love")

And, as crazy as it sounds, some jazz songs could fit well! Specifically:

The Bottle (Original and Remix) -- Maysa

and

"Givin' It Up (Remix)", "Step Into My Life", "Nights Over Egypt", and "Where Do We Go From Here?" by Incognito

And, as much of a geek as this makes me sound like, I honestly think that the opening theme to Hamutaro would rule as a DDR song.

I definetly agree, with as many people as there are at where i play that play Witch Doctor all day long..

Hmm.. Bohemian Rhapsody and "Mama Told Me Not To Come" would ROCK too...

Because we are such a great site, why not petition for these songs to go into a "DDRFreak" MIX, not unlike the KONAMIX?

Nothing special, no need to be on arcade- if enough people like the songs, then wont they put them on an arcade version? How long has Absolute been in the arcade (or almost every mix?) Its a good song, and one that people enjoy. With songs put on our own mix, that mix would sell like crazy, and they would be like "WOW, we need to put these in the arcade version"

At least... Thats how i think it will happen, if it does..

E2.gif At least I can have my dreams erm.gif

Ironic, since Geri Halliwell, as we all know, an ex-Spice Girl, contributed her cover of "It's Raining Men" .

Other suggestions:

Village People -- Macho Man

Andreas Johnson -- Glorious

any B2K song

Metallica
-- The Unforgiven
-- No Leaf Clover

911 (disbanded British boy band)
-- Love Sensation
-- More than a Woman
-- Bodyshakin'

5IVE (another disbanded British boy band)
-- Everybody get up
-- When the Lights go out

Anastacia -- I'm Outta Love

Any of these Puffy AmiYumi songs will be fine!
1. Planet Tokyo [English]/Red Stick [Japanese]
2. Tokyo Nights
3. Angel of Love (Reminds me of my fave DDR character, Izam! riiight.gif )
4. Thank You
5. Your Love is A Drug
6. K2G

The Teen Titans theme is NOT a choice! Because...Wait. *runs away* boom.gif

The songs that i would like to put into the next DDR would have to be.

1. Pretty fly for a white guy - The Offsprings
2. When Angels Deserve to Die - System of a Down
3. Forever - ending theme to Chobits
4. Enter Sandman - Metallica
5. Where is my Mind - Pixies

I totally agree with Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen
*starts to sing offkey* Belezabob has a devil put aside for meeeeeeeee *gets bricked* Oww...pain

I do have to repost my picks for 80's (or so) Classic Rock/New Wave:

The Cars - Shake It Up
Dead Or Alive - You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)
Duran Duran - Notorious
Men Without Hats - The Safety Dance (Extended Mix)
Anthrax/Public Enemy - Bring Da Noise
Deee-Lite - Groove Is In The Heart
Foreigner - Feels Like The First Time

Also, unlikely, but...

They Might Be Giants - Doctor Worm
Ultraviolence - Paranoid

I have pyDDR on my new G5 and I made my own version of Groove is in the Heart. I worked for about 5 hours on it to perfect it and it's AWESOME to dance with. The programming on pyDDR is VERY tedious at first but once you get the hang of it it flies. An old issue of MacAddict magazine talks about the software. I'll pull it out of my mag basket and post the info. if anyone wants it.

Most of these suggestions are REALLY good ideas for ddr songs. And I definitely think that Konami and Bemani should extend their genres of music into more rap and rock and not just dance. And also they could definitely include some more world music a la Afronova Primeval & Matsuri Japan. Also I think a good one would be the Cell Block Tango from Chicago. They should include some longer songs like that for a nonstop mode or something. Like, in Pump it Up, a lot of the nonstop courses (at least in the older versions) are just one long song. I think punk would be a nice genre to add a lot of. I think Maxwell Murder by Rancid (the first song on And Out Come the Wolves) would make a really good cata. In fact, that whole album has a lot of really good danceable tunes on it.
