need help with the usb converter

I just got my redoctane usb-ps2 converter so i can use my pad on stepmania, and it wont regester any of the bottom or middle buttons

X, O, and the up arrow register, and so do start and select, and my ps2 controller works fine, but the bottom left and right arrows wont work. ive got the new pad that was released with ddrmax2, is it some sort of compatability issue due to the fact this one doesnt have triangle and square? someone help if they can

I know that with the EMS USB coverter you can go into Control Panel / Game Controllers and change some settings , however I am not sure on yours.

Hey, what USB converters do you guys have that works?

I think i'm getting the same problem as Setzer, what USB converter does anyone prefer?

The only pproblem I have had with the EMS has been that several times Window$ forgets that the pads are plugged in and drops the connection.

After a reboot and unplugging the USB connection and replugging, Control Panel will refresh and the software will reload itself in the Game Controller area.
